We are celebrating and the author is playing politics. How can you decide of this and say this. The money is not every thing, has the centre government anounced any thing. States are playing politics no CM is paying from their pockets it is the governments money, our tax payer's money it is Indian players, when they represent nation then they are not property of any state. why can not All staes reward the best player or the academy no matter from which state the player belong to. we need good young author with broad thinking to build our nation.
You are able to name only few chief ministers who gave gift, money etc. Indian team had 15 players. Only 7 or 8 players have got gifts. Why can't you write the chief ministers of all other players? What do you expect by writing such a cheap article. For your information, BCCI has announced 2 million dollars not 2 million rupees as stated in this article. Dont be biased.
wt is this rubbish... each player of ther team including pathan is a champion to us... n modi had congratulated pathan after famous pakistan victory... so no role of politics with cricket.. money or no money from state govt is no issue... it seems rediff is running out of news... yellow journalism... shame on the meanmindedness of rediff...
Rediff has gone mad India won the ASIA CUP in Hockey..NEHRU CUP in Football...dd rediff find time to cover thm so much!!! I am appalled...I am not in India t the moment but still while going thru this article I was shivering with angerr ...WHAT IN THE HELL IS THIS?? HOCKEY and FOOTBALL players are doing for the country too...and here we are just had thrashing in the real world cup..making heroes of ZEROES...SEE VIRENDER SEHWAG..DONT UR BLOODS BOIL SEEING HIM??? APPALLING....see AJIT AGARKAR!!! I have no words ...I HEARD FROM MY FRIENDS IN INDIA THAT HE WAS THE MOST AWFUL PLAYER OF THE WHOLE TOURNAMENT ..and see He is got 10 lac rupees for free...that too from Maharashtra..:))...the state that doesnt have electricity, the state where people in rural areas have 14 hoursof load sheding...farmers committing suicide..I CANT BELIEVE REDIFF IS TRYING TO CREATE A POLITICAL ISSUE OF THIS TOO!!!...NARENDRA MODI IS A VERY REALISTIC HUMAN BEING...I AM O WHERE A SUPPORTER OF HIS POLICIES...BUT AS AN INDIAN THINK OF THIS ..!!! THINK OF VIRENDER SEHWAG..AGARKAR..AND COMPARE THEM WITH THE HOCKEY PLAYERS ATLEAST...SORRY GUYS CUDNT CONTROL MY ANGER..
Since, Narendra Modi likes Cricket but not Muslims, he is in big dilemma of whether to reward Indian cricketers of his State who are Muslims or not. This is a Classic case of Eedhar khaieee .... Udhar Koowa !!!! Narendra Modi will try to reward the Pathans by giving them free travelling in the burnt train which started Gujarat riots !!!

Why can't they Publish this.
1) In Karnataka, Gangavati town faced lot of hardship when people of one community immersing the idol faced problem from brother community. And finally without luck polic has to immerse in outside town.Than i realised this is not damocratic country.
2) In Bangalore when people celbrating with firecrackers for TWENTY-20. Suddenly one group came and started throwing stones and giving sweet dhamki's to people. Is this Democratic country. Saala uppar se sawalat do aur ooper se violance bardassh karo.E kya democracy hai.
True that almost all the state governments are giving their state representatives their peice of cake, but I am sure their must some more players, other thn Irfan and Yusuf, who are not geting any prize from their state govt. as of now..Rediff is playing a dirty game by just mentioning two muslim brothers and involving Narendra Modi in the issue..their is a responsibility to be taken by media, and Rediff has not been doing their duty, which is evident many times..
