Just goes to show how things can work for you by just believing in yourself...come england, come south africa, come australia...india deserved this win.. Excellent captaincy by Dhoni and well supported by his players. Little bit sad to see Sreesanth bowling easy balls given his excellent performance against australia. But all's well that ends well. Hopefully india would not become complacent and continue their good form in near future. Hats off to this team with average age less than 24!!! You did it!!
In the final analysis, the difference between the teams was as little as it was at the beginning of the match. But kudos to the Indian team for pulling it off. This is what youngsters can do. This must also open eyes of selectors towards selecting in-form players rather than those who have "cemented" their place in the team by scoring a century a few seasons ago.
Finally they proved that it is possible to win. Finally! Even in the absence of legends like Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid. These young Indians led by Dhoni deserve a huge applause. They won against all odds.
We beat England, then South Africa, then Australia and finally Pakistan!! What else proof required to claim that we are WORLD CHAMPIONS in Cricket!! Hearty Congrats Dhoni & team! $2 m is very small amount when compared to the joy and pride brought by you to all of us.

Yes. Sachin, Rahul and Saurav you have made us proud in the past. Thanks for that. Now pl hang your boots and gracefully quit ODI and 20-20 formats in Cricket. Let the young ones enjoy and bring us joy.
