The biggest difference that I saw in this Indian team was "EQUALITY". There was no super-star. Everyone was equal and expectations were equal from everyone. Hence everyone felt a part of this team.
There were issues of "Seniority" and no clash of egoes. They all played for the team. Great teamwork. Players were angry at themselves when they made mistakes. You did not see players angry at each other.
Also, there was no unwanted tension/friction between coach and players. I firmly believe that if we have a good selection committee, we do not need a full time coach. We may need a consultants (Based on individual players weakness and I am sure we can afford that).
All in all a great performance by all the players. Remove politics from this sport and India will shine.
Remember Greg Chapell who always was in favour of getting young blood but the oldies along with their dirty minds did'nt let it be.We owe this victory to him.Shame on the media.
