Congratulations to Indian Team
by antony raj on Sep 24, 2007 11:09 PM  Permalink

The victory against the arch rivals Pakistan in the Twenty20 final is a great feeling. I cannot express my joy over India's victory. The moment Pakistan lost the 10th victory, my joy knew no bounds. Though it was a foregone conclusion that we (the Indian Team) would win the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup, yet, it also gave us some nervous moments. I am proud of the Indian Team. It is a moment of pride and joy. I would cherish this moment life long. I wish the Indian Team that they won big tournaments like this in future also. It inspires every Indian to do well in wheatever they do. Thank you Team India. We are proud of you.

Best of India, Best for India...
by imran patel on Sep 24, 2007 11:09 PM  Permalink

This is the true strength of India and the potential that we as a Nation have but ONLY when we are united.

This team is everything we need to be a Nation.

There were Hindus, Muslims, Christians. There were people from all corners of India in this team. They played as a team and they came out with flying colors.

The supporters were not giving Fatwas or shouting for Temples or Bashing other communities. They were all cheering for India. That is what we all should do as a nation. Contribute in whatever way to the development of this country.

Great job India. We are very proud of you.

Who wants the big three, the young turks of India were able to do what the big three couldnt do for the last three world cups. thats the spirit of this young Indian team. In years to come they can do what no Indian team has ever done.

GREAT CAPTAINCY - DHONI

Brilliant Job!
by Subhasish Ghosh on Sep 24, 2007 11:09 PM  Permalink

COngrats on the great run and victory! You guys proved to be cool customers. However, dont lose your head too soon. This is a short format and consistency and ability to stand long overs for the new boys remain untested.
Let us hope DHoni will prove a point in the one days too and will be a worthy carrier of captainship. He has definitely brought back the fearless reckoning of the team and fighting spirit! Keep it Cool, Dhoni!
