Congratulations to the Indian Cricket team for winning the Twenty20 world cup today...It was a great game today and though my team lost...it was a good fight..Indian youngsters showed once again, when under pressure they have ice cool water running in their veins and do not succumb to pressure like Pakistan did today. The game could have swung either way and eventually the better,more prepared and more relaxed team won today. Enjoy your victory....well played India.

It was very close man, the way pakistan hit all those sixes really took the match away but that one last shot did not come off and India won. Both team played well.

Thats great, a great victory after about a quarter century and to crown it was an exciting match against our neighbout Pak. Also was nice to see two Asian countries competing for the cup. Keep it up India. Our support is always there. Congrats again.
The best part is that this victory has made many a former and current Australian players who commented negatively about India's potential eat a humble pie. I hope they would watch out before making comments about Indian team in the future.
For the last world cup held in West Indies this year, the expectations from the fans and the general public were too much, which were carried by media leading to awfully bad performance by the players.
This time, no one has even dreampt that India will be able to even qualify for the super 8 .
Therefore, they played well to their full potential without any pressure from back home
that finally won the tournament.

do u know that same thing happened in 1983 too? noone expected india to win world cup. and after india upset the WI, saame year WI came to India sor a series and thrashed India left right and center. Hope same dosen't happen with Aus in Oct.
Even though the victory of Indian Team doesn't affect us (people of Indian origin) directly, but the moral boost up and the happiness which the victory of Indian Cricket Team gives us is tremendous, especially when are sitting far away from My India. Keep it up.
