A reason to celebrate, a reason to rejoice....It was since 1985 when India took over Pakistan in the Finals of Benson & Hedges World Championship, and yesterday night it was yet another golden moment to cherish at Johannesberg. Something that sustained from Benson & Hedges to Twenty20 is the glory and victory but the difference was the spirit and style and we did stand out in the end.
It was a pleasure watching the young guns of Indian Cricket Team cruising their way surpassing the rest to be at the top.
I would like to congratulate Skipper Dhoni for potraying a "lets-make-it-happen" captain role (there is still a long way to go and he needs to doctrinate himself in various ways) and the whole of India Cricket team for the performance of their life. Credit goes to each and every person associated.
two arch rivals in cricket......battling it out in the final f shorter version f worldcup......& didnt they cook a GREAT CURRY together!!!!!!!
I m sure 4 all the cricket crazy fans who watched the live game.......this final will be etched in their memory 4 ever.......4 some as bad memories & 4 millions others including me as fondest memories n life.........
it was a typical INDIA PAKISTAN match.......closely contested.....balance shifting on either side.......change f momentum in the game quite often......some brilliant individual performances......& as always passionate team effort cos its the neighbours the team was playing with......& boy it took the last over to decide.....& in what a fashion!!!!
the game s worth remembering 4 ever cos this s going to change the indian cricket future cos there s that vibrant positive vibes among players.......& the whole country is going to talk about this for years to come......cos f the manner in which india fared in this tournament......beating all the strong teams to go to final!
i enjoyed every moment f the game.....had not felt so PASSIONATE about being an INDIAN........4 a very long time......truly sports instills that feeling of belongingness to ones country in a very easy way.........this is one f those times when i m feeling "I wish I was in INDIA now" cos the atmosphere will be electrifying & the celebrations will be going till late in the night.....a sight worth seeing....
