Finally, Indian team has proved that Coaches hardly matter , as long as you play as a fighting unit, which has no fear of the consequences, we can win more cups like this, full marks goes to this young indian team, hats off to you guys
Many many congratulation to Indian team for giving us the World cup for which we are waiting for last 24 years. its really a very well team effort where all the player has put all their potential, effort and talent. After a long time we have seen indian cricket team playing as a team under the brave leadership of M S Dhoni.
It was truly made in style. The enthu, spirit, dedication, commitment etc etc were all there in ample display by the Indian team. Hope it will open eyes of BCCI and have merit as the sole criteria for selection of any team for any tournament. And there were few finds apart from Dhoni himself as capatain, Irfan Pathan has proved himself and Rohit Sharma has shown nerves at such a tender age.
First of all, would like to congratulate Team India for bringing the glory to the nation again after 24 years and creating a history. You guys played really well through out the tournament in every department be it batting, bowling or fielding, baring couple of games, infact those were also quite close games. In 2003, we were almost there but unfortunately couldn't get it right in final game against Australia. This time we did it. For me, we had already won the cup the day we beated Australia and entered into finals. Thanks a lot guys for the great show....Chak diya!!!
Who would have expected that india would win a world cup... its such a great moment of or lifetimee and we indians are lucky to have seen it.. those who missed it ts a loss forife time
