misbah ul haq threw his wicket away by going or a cute shot. we won by luck. in 1983 the windies batted like millionaires. here, misbah bated like a moron, after playing so well till then.

Where is Raghul Dravid?
by Ganesan Kumar on Sep 25, 2007 05:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

With all the celebrations going in India, we didnt got any messages/wishes from Raghul Dravid, (Ex India Captain).
Where is he? Why not even a single word from him.
Media try to get him.
I think he is not enjoying the Indian Win.

This again show that media is biased. Dravid will give his comment only if someone comes to him. I think that it is all but natural for media to go to Dravid since Dhoni was his deputy and deputy learns captaincy by thrie captain. Dada is going to media to say that he missed playing in 20-20. Dravid would never say that because he sincerely felt that 20-20 was meant for yoingsters below 30.

If that is so what is the age of the top scorer in 20-20 ...Hayden...and likes of Gilcrist,Ponting..dint they make to Semifinal...Quality matters not age...in any form of the game..You are young Mr.Verma can u play 20-20 because of the age factor...Dont be biased...Give credit for the achievements of the awesome three..dont forget your past and blaming them..

LEt us also remember Ganaguly , did all tricks to stay in captain, I thank Greg for brining clearly that old player not allowing the young ster to thrive .
His observattion has brought this change and this cup.

You south Indians try to think beyond Dravid OK - don't try to sling filth on Ganguly - he is 10000 times better captain and 100000 times stronger in mind than that timid mouse you all love.

For all anti Ganguly fans...
We have seen enough of these glimses of hope whenever a new captain is made. When Dravid was first made captain we had people saying bad about Ganguly and praised Dravid to be the captain of the future. Everyone were praising the young team that Dravid had at that time. But finally Ganguly had to be called back. I dont want to say that Dhoni's future will be same as Dravid's but I dont want people to comment nonsense. Watch and enjoy the game...most of you are not players or not masters in your what you do....Ganguly is a master..one of the greats for India..

This is the main problem with most of Indians. Always open their pants and stands infront of white skin.Greg is a arrogant person he did nothing except take lots of money(in terms of our tax).He try to destroy indian cricket team. Once again our team re consolidated with combination of old and new. Our own great players like Kapil, Sunil, Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid are much more better than him or Australlians. We are going to teach them once again in Australia (like last tour in Australia).

Yes our Dada is real king of Captaincy see NDTV poll everybody voted for him. SA win is fluke. Actually batting first in seaming conditions was wrong. fluke will never happen again & actually Dhoni the Dhobi Bihari a captain or sissy Dravid a . Dhoni was known for his high lofting shots which yields 4or6,but now he bound himself to 1 and 2 only which is not fair in 20-20 game.so dhoni is unfit for 20-20 game.Dada playing under him... What a joke.We are going to loose ODI series against Australia. Now fools will blame Dada for bad batting.
Dada we miss you as captain

I think currently Ganguly's job is on line since Gambhir is also a Left hand batsman and opener. He did well in 20-20 world cup and he has very good record in ODI also. In addition, he is also a good fielder compared to Ganguly. Probably that's why Ganguly is bit worried. he now says that he missed playing in 20-20 World Cup. He knows that Gambhir has taken his place.

Your senses are on line better pack off or it will start spilling off - Ganguly is the 2nd highest run getter in 2007 ODIs in the world neither ur chicken hearted ex-captain not Great Sachin is nearby. Check ur fact before vomiting rubbish in this South indian infected forum.

Hey Guys Be cool dont blame the rahul
think once who is the intiative for the big TRIO(sachin, dada, dravid) to quit the 20-20 .isit not the rahul.now all r saying because of the young indian team it is happened.then whats the wrong he made to indian team.
then dont u know the fact that dravid himself quit the captancy becoz he knows that it is the time to buid a future indian team .i too accept that dravid is not as dynamic as dada so he realized that he is not a suitabe person.I too still have a desire of dada to be the captain for our team but what i want to convey is dravid has done some thing good in building of a good (young and experience)cricket team.dont blame him please.he is a real team men i believe.

Ganguly is the 2nd highest run scorrer in the World in ODIs that too only a few runs short of Hayden by playing lesser no. of matches. Sachin & Dravid or any Indian is nowhere near him this season.

by Ajay Alagh on Sep 25, 2007 03:57 PM  Permalink

Congrats India. The young Team India has shown that it is much better off in Limited Overs cricket be it T20 without the Big Stars who are hanging to their places by past performances. Congrats once again to Dhoni for his superb thinking & imaginative captaincy.
