It is high time for Ganguly to keep quiet Ganguly has done everything to spoil discipline as the people from the region are famous for. Dravid is a victim of the Media including the newspaper Telegrph which publishes Ganguly photo daily as if some ritual is going on. Dhoni proved in matter in 3 matches that Dravid's captaincy was a burden on India. Ganguly is still the most successfull captain of india. Chappel and Dravid resulted in Bhaji sewag zaheer ganguly pathan to go out...this was the core of the team.

Dear Friend, wait untill he starts he starts captaining a team with Gangulys, Tendulkar's, Vengsarkars and them looses a few games.
Now the team is young with no agenda accept to enjoy. Lats wait and see what happens if we loose to pakistan or australia.

i totally agree with bango, gangu's batting was pathetic for last 2 yrs, he was in team only b'coz of captainship. he didn't do any thing special in previous world where reached in final. In this world cup his and tendu slow batting against bangladesh cost us match. if u guys forget check for clips on net. dravid never got full support of the team. key players used to give contrasting statements further to worsen the confidence of captain's morale. in all u can dravid had bad time as captain. all the time media and people were behind him.

Played slowly spoiling the opening. When he plays slow he can score some at the cost of team. Playing slow to settle in is understandable but, He can not accelerate after settling in.
Example is Last English tour ODI as he tried to accelelerate he looked funny. The crux of the matter is he can not take on quality opposition bowling. How he faces short pitched stuff? It is shame we call him international standard. He is not fit for International arena and blocking place of Yuvi in tests and Sharma Karthik like many youngsters.

Beofer the tournament the most that was expected of this team is to through to Super 8. They have now exceeded the expectations by beating two teams and almost the 3rd (With NZ they lost only because the last 3 overs cost them 70 runs). Atleast they are showing passiong and willing to fight out. It does not matter if they win or loose, they should just go out full blast against the Aus and take them by surprise. Atleast give them a taste of their own medicine and after that even if they loose it does not matter. Just dont give up easily like SL did 2 days ago. The weak link is still the bowling - Sreesanth is mercurial, bowls 1-2 wides every over or bowls loose balls. Joginder is the weak link but the replacement (Agarkar) is no better. Just hope that RP Singh does not bowl too many short pitched balls, he looks menacing when he pitches the ball up. I think India needs 200 to win against Aus but again the main thing is give them a fight. At the end of the game if Aus win, then so be it. After all they are the champion side and India has nothing to loose.

The chemistry amongst members is vital for the Team to click. We need some homogeneity in the India team which has been lacking in both the version of Cricket.
It would be very prudent to continue the team as such, for the coming one-days. There has been a lot of politics going around and by doing so, we may be able to check that - for a while.
