It would be interesting to know whether the selectors told him that he is also the wicket keeper of the team!
Else there is always the temptation to ask Dinesh Karthik to keep the wickets. Then Dhoni is neither a complete recognised batsman in comparison to Yuvaraj! If he fails as a batsman it would put pressure on him or even worse he may be the fourth former captain in the team!
dhoni & yuvraj both r less experinced then GANGULY.there are some important series to come.so can indian board take this risk.i think Ganguly must be in the team as a caption.
It is a tough and thankless job. I hope Dhoni succeeds. It is not easy especially with the corrupt BCCI and selectors mismanaging all the time. Dhoni should be given enough time and should not be judged prematurely. How can any Indian captain succeed consistently with the kind of bowlers and fielders they have? Also they do not have a decent coach at the moment. None of the good caoches wants to coach India after Greg Chappell made such a fool of himself.
i think BCCI is not thinking, IS BCCI is SCHOOL, Dhoni is not capable to handle the pressure, He has to learn more things Give captainship to most senior person like tendulkar, ganguly

Uptill now BCCI Selection committee used to name the captain like selecting a LAMB to face the slaughter house of Australia,South Africa,etc. But this time they have selected a BULL like Dhoni to face the slaugtering/butchering by the Australians.Any body agrees ?
do ur best Dhoni ,any way some Dada fans(even i was one of the fan) r upset,more youvi fans and dada fans are out there, they terribly upset u know hear 100 crore ppl wants all in theyer way ,they will counter u soon, dont listen to all of them keep ur head cool and do well .....

Why are you coloring the thing? What is Dada fan and Dhoni fan? These may be products of two companies - but it is sure that none cools rather hots the atmosphere.
Please refrain from this sort of attack. Rather support new captain unconditionally.
