Why not Zaheer Khan as captain. After all, he's the senior most after the trinity of Sachin-Sourav-Dravid; and in current form the only one who is sure of his place in both tests and one dayers. Moreover, pressures of captaincy will not affect his batting anyway.
I am surprised that Gautham Gambhir after more than his matured performance has not been selected into the team. Why do we need 3 spinners? Bhajji and Powar wud have been more than good enough.
We, the lovers of Cricket,In India is nothing but a mere spectators.We have no right to say anything against the selection of Captain or any players.We are simply slaves at the whims of the BCCI`s jockers. They have drag the glamour and richness of cricket team to the bottom.Dhoni is a aggressive player--wish him success in near future,But he is lack experiences. It was better to give him chance after some wards.Hope better performances and best wishes for the Indian Cricket team.

dhoni selection as a captain is not correct since already 3 senior players are such like dravid tendulakar & ganguly so at this stage to coordinate there must be a one senior players like tendulakar if tendulakar not accepting we can select ganguly as a captain

They will never offer captaincy to Ganguly again. Remember how much effort they made to get him out of team.
All the selectors are making us fool by NOT selecting Akarkar as Captain. This is the right selection to loose the battle without fighting as the dirty politics of MH wants
