Any one tell me the openers name of our Indian team?
Any one tell me the one all-rounder name Indian team?
Any one tell me a world class spinner name in Indian team?

Our BCCI make a human body without bones.
because they didn't have brain.
Useless

Frankly speaking Dhoni is not d right person for captaincy.....in fact he cannot play in pressure situations all d time...so 4 one dayers i think it should have been on the contrary...yuvraj as captain and dhoni his vice

Good move

All said and done, I am glad the Indian selectors finally showed some courage and entrusted the captaincy to someone other than Tendulkar and Ganguly.

Hopefully, they'll show some more maturity and not judge Dhoni harshly if we lose against Aus and Pak. You bring in a young captain, he will need time to establish his authority in the team .. certainly a tough job when he has three superstars with much more experience in his team. Best of luck to Dhoni.

I just wish Yuvraj had not been given the vice-captaincy. Any time he is given a position of authority, he loses his head and becomes an arrogant pompous ass.

can u tell me my dear when has yuvraj given dat oppurtunity...????when he was the on field vice captain in pakistan series he played better dan all the players of d two nations...hes the best man 2 handle pressure
mahendra singh dhoni was the v captain in england series and it was one of his poorest tour ever....so be speacific...personal heights...like 183 n.o are not exactly d essential fator 4 captaincy

so my dear can u tell me when did it happen?????
when Yuvraj was v.captain in one day series in pakistan due to absence of sehwag he plated better than all d other 20 players of both teams
he can handle pressure better dan any of other indian players
mahendra singh dhoni was v.captain 4 england one dayers...and if u didn`t forget he had a very very very nonsense tour...
i dont get it how personal greats like 183 n.o ,most attacking batsman(only in home) can be made...2 remind all captaincy is not everyones ability...
sachin tendulkar, urguably one of d best cricketer ever produced by world cricket was d most unsuccessful captain....so wat bout dhoni????a loooooot 2 go/??

again the selection commetiee has show that they are the bunch of joker. from my prespective dada is the only person who is capable for this job. Dhoni is just grooming, it is too early to bring him for this post. but with in two month defenatily you will get him in new look (GANja).

Hi everybody,
Just i can wish Dhoni.....all the best!!!Being an Indain & that too 4m Ranchi..... I dont want this uncut Diamond to be cut before it matures. why i am saying this is becoz i wish Dhoni to be played for India for a longer period of atleast 15-20yrs.We have seen him matured as a batsman & wicketkeeper since past 2-3years.& day by day he is proving. I doubdt that Dhoni As a Captain is a right choice at this wrong time.He should not be given a burden at this critical juncture.......what Selectors did a RIDICULOUS step to force him to fall in a well.......& in my opinion they are just trying to spoil a player like him.If he fails ...in carrying his responsibilty then morally he will down & his performance effects.
I have mentioned what i found in the first two game at 20-20 in south africa....Now i pray god to give him strength & courage to fight out at this odd time ..........& give success as a Captain!!!!!

sahoo you are really sicky ass ..

How can you compare yuvraj performance with dhoni...

Dhoni doesnt know how to play on bouncy pitches he has scored runs only on indian subcontinent pitches ... Have you seen his track record in recently english series he hardly scores run...

Indian team need good player not actor...

Yuvraj was best choice.. What happen if he likes parties even australia go for party every night

You are ass.

The logic has really gone for a toss.....
by deepak malik on Sep 18, 2007 04:31 PM  Permalink

I am not against Dhoni taking over the mettle, but just want to get your attention towards the team selections......Who gets the Axe-Rohit Sharma, Agarkar and Munaf. I can understand to a degree about exclusion of Agarkar and Munaf since Agarkar quite frankly bolwed heap loads of shit in England, and I just can't get how can one play 200 odd matches and still can't stop himself from bowling length balls in Slog overs......I know ppl say that it's easy to talk and difficult to do when in the ground, well then my reply is "one who can't do exactly that inspite of playing cricket for 10-12 years, then he is really not taking it serious enough and deserves a kick"

Munaf has been blowing hot and cold and looks way out of shape and fitness, so rightfully kicked out,

Now I am most amazed and disappointed to say the least that Rohit sharma is excluded. He has played 2 ODI's, one when he didn't get to bat and the other one against SAF in ireland where he came in number 7 in the slog overs and made 8 of 9 balls....that's not enough to put one out in the cold just 'coz u have to accomodate the other so called stars.....Gambhir may be shud get anohter chance, But Karthik is way too much excited these days while playing ODI's, repeatedly getting out cheaply and then acting as a nonsense in the field missing easy balls,

Good on you Dhoni and God bless Indian selector's for their strange selections.......

/deepak
