i agree with pradeep's BCCI name as Badmaashi, Crimes and Cheats (India) Unlimited...there will be lot of political involvement in selection....there are players who are better than existing one...this shows stupidity of BCCI in selecting the people...I prefer Ganguly as Captian...being a senior player he can manage the things under pressure...to be an indian captain...atleast they need an experience of playing 100 ODIs which dhoni doesn't deserve it as captain....

Why ganguly.his form his in doubt every time.last time in his captancy his form is very bad and he became the most successful captain due to master blaster / dravid / yuvraj and others performs better and the ganguly performance hide. Dhoni is the best choice today for future.
It is only 3 years that Dhoni has spent in international cricket and he lacks the experience to lead the team. When players like Sachin and Dravid say that the pressure of captaincy is so much that their indidual performance is affected, we are very much doubtful about Dhoni doing justice to the job. Ganguly has proven to be a succesful captaina and i wonder how the selectors could have missed him?.
why u guys are crying!dhoni has excellent temparament and that was shown in indo pak match(twenty 20 series). He is the best guy if u think oldies like 10dulkars and sourav then where we are heading.excellent decision!

if dhoni has been appointed only for the first three ODI's those wise men are up to something--this will put unecessary pressure on Dhoni

no but yes if u are choosing a cricket captain.Anyway none of the people play good
I really don't understand why Yuvraj Singh wasn't made the one-day Captain...he was being supposedly groomed for it....I really feel captaincy would be a burden for Dhoni and lets hope it doesn't affect his wicket-keeping and more than that batting....

yuvraj is prone to indiscipline and has an attitude problem plus foot in the mouth disease

He is most indeciplined player and also not consistent in batting. Infact i do not understand why has been named vice captain.
Looking at dhoni's captaincy in the two 20-20 matches he seems to be no good captain. I cannot imagine him picking up Agarkar and bowling him in slog overs again against NZ. Gagnguly might not be a good player but india cannot have a better captain than him at the moment. I am not ganguly supporter but guys like dhoni, yuvraj etc. are thinking more abt their hairstyle and advertisements than cricket.
