I dont understand the why Romesh Powar is with the team. He stuggles to run between wickets, struggles for fileding and doesnt know how to hold the bat. I think its a little costly for India to select him.
Touring australia and facing them is very difficult. Doni is in experience in captaining the team against australia. no douubt he will lead team india in future. he needs to be groomed. hence i would prefer ganguli as captain and dhoni as vice for a year with a clear instructions to ganguli that he should groom dhoni. after a year dhoni should have been made a captain of indian cricket. no need to name one captain for ODIs and another for tests. this arrangement would have helped india to reach more heights.

agarkar should be banned from cricket. i hope dhoni excludes him from team india's next two matchs. he is a talentless wicket taker who has hhad many chances but has never improved. WHERE IS BALAJI??????????

powar cannot bat powar cannot field powar is an average bowler. in a country of 1 billion where 40 % are youngsters don't we have a talented youngster with fast legs to replace him, thereby prepare him for 2011????

hmm how badly team India will miss the all time greatest all rounder Ajit agarkar...his chetah like feilding...his lofty sixes...& will not to mention the greatest bowler India had. Hmmm sad, i am shocked. I guess he has opted out because you know he is getting older as well...
we people follow whatever the aussie do. if they have two different teams for 1 day & tests,we follow. where is the talent? according to many VVS is the best Indian Batsman. As if others in the team are best fielders everyone criticise his fielding. VVS is better slip catcher, than many in the present team & most immportantly Aussies fear his presence. All mentals.
Sreesanth the new agarkar 2006-2016. Others like pathan will have to keep proving themeselves while he like agarkar will be a constant selection for the next ten years.
Dhoni does not have enough international experience to lead the team.Captaincy would no doubt put undue pressure on him and after a certain number of matches, the same people who supported him would ask him to resign from the team itself thereby putting an end to a what could be a great career. He should be be allowed to play without the burden of captaincy for atleast another 2 years and then probably handed over the responsibility.

I agree. Morever, Dhoni is backward caste and from a backward state. Backward caste can only go in one direction - backward! Indian cricket team will now become just like Bihar/Jharkand - lawless and backward. As if things weren't bad enough!
