I dont think Dhoni will be suitable for this Job right now. Too early!!! Just see his last few matches where his batting is already under pressure. Plus the added burden of keeping. Dinesh Karthik is giving good fight for the spot. Plus 02 tough series with Australia and Pakistan. I fear we'll lose the original dhoni. He should be made deputy of SOURAV and should have learned the tricks of the trade. But best wishes for Dhoni all the way. Another thing is the politics with Sehwag. Poor chap to get the axe. Played wonderfully with NZ that day.

Lets see he has been made captain agaist a tough opponent for first three onedayers lets see if he proves it. There may be chanches there is a larger politics of Sharat Pawar and Vegsarkar to make Indian Team=Mumbai Team. After dropping Dhoni, he will make yuvraj captain, then he will make RP Singh drop them and make Agarkar the full time permanent captain till next world cup

Bull shit...there is no one better than dhoni who can handle pressure in the Indian team. You have not followed his game carefully...over the last 6 months he has developed in him the ability to curb his natural instincts and play as per the situation.

m not saying dat Dhoni is not a matchwinner....but he is ,at present, not d contender..u hav to be a experienced one for captaining a nayion like india where its not a game but relegion,it will impose pressure amd negative impact on his batting ,so its very important to choose aright person ,moreover,no one is perfect...well DRINKING... i dont think each player will set a camera and show dat they drink or not...wats d problem in drinkin,dats compleatly personal

Congrats BCCI on selecting Dhoni as captain of ODI team and not falling back on aged ex captains. Even the team selection for me is okay. Dhoni I feel have the captaincy material in him and definitely ahead of Yuvi.
But I feel Dhoni should give wicket keeping to Karthik and concentrate on his batting.
Even the test captaincy shoud be given to a youngster may be Dhoni himself.
The great old war horses should gradually retire from ODIs and play in only test matches

You have hit the nail on the head. Inspite of being an avid fan of the 3 war horses, feel they should be rested periodically in the ODI's before gradually phased out of the ODI's & to concentrate solely in Test cricket. Let's face it, ODI & 20-20 is a young man's game now & we cannot ignore that
harbhajan should not have been included in the final 11.instead we give a chance to young gun piysh chowla.I'm not underatand why shewag didnot include in the team.is he sidelined?

Bringing Ganguly back will bring india 5 years back from Internatioanl cricket,OfCourse Ganguly was all time gr8 captain of india,but how long he can serve the team,2-3 years,after that again we wll face the same problem,Its hight time we think of future,

Let Ganguly first cement his place in the team. His slow strike rate, pathetic running between wickets , tendency to get others run-out etc..(the list runs long) is not what is preferred in a one day batsmen. We have the likes of Gambhir & Uthappa breathing down his neck with their youth & powerfull batting.
