Dont Waste Time .. Just Enjoy Cricket !!!
by Surajit Dash on Sep 18, 2007 08:47 PM  Permalink

Guys - Dont start hatred... Bengalis or Non-Bengalis.. let Dada take rest and enjoy his cricket rather than being burdened by the pressure of captaincy... One day he has to retire and by that time, Inia must have a matured Captain to take over. That time is now.

When Indira Gandhi Died.. India thought- That its doomed.. who will run the country!! Is it running till now or not ?

Dont think about Dada or anyone in Cricket .. because Its BCCI's Own decision. Though we live in a democracy, the meek Indian people cant start a revolution to change anything.. Has Mandal commission stopped? Has Casteicism stopped? Has regional hatred stopped?

Forget and enjoy Cricket - let it be Win Or Loss.. We dont have to do anything ... Just sit in fromt of the TV with Popcorns and enjoy !!!

Dhoni
by cynic on Sep 18, 2007 08:40 PM  Permalink

has been made a sacrificial goat aka bali ka bakra. Very soon he will lose his place itself in the team as he will be unable to multi-task so many diffrent tasks at once.

Wkt Keeper Captain does not work well
by Sangeetha on Sep 18, 2007 08:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Making Wkt Keeper as a captain will not work well and has not worked in the past. Typical examples are Moin Khan(Pak), Alec stewart(Eng), Glichrist(Aus). They all had very bad one day records when they were Captians.
Also,Dhoni himself is trying to find a place in Indian Team and its too early to make him as a Captain.
Wicket keeing requires lot of concetration and handling captaincy will spiol his game further.

Very bad decision by

I think india is now going to phase very bad phase, as in india there is always a big pressure to captain because here people expect a lot its a place where cricket is a religion.
Thats why dravid quits captaincy because it was spoiling his image, there was a huge pressure on him after world cup and losing 5 continues one-days against england and where does dhoni stands ??? We haved failed to understand.
Dhoni(the loly pop kid) is not a idle choice for india..
He is quickly droping captaincy...
we are simpily just waiting for ganguly to come back again...

Dhoni is not a correct choice
by SPPonerulappan Paramanantham on Sep 18, 2007 08:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

if you note the current T20 series, you could find that dhoni batting already gone away. definitley he is not a correct choice as captain to lead now. choice will be D.Karthick only.

Are you out of your senses ? D.Karthick recent low scores, dropped catches would have caused most other players to get sacked...Get a dose of reality.

Stupid selections and glaring omissions!!!
by Spitting Cobra on Sep 18, 2007 08:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The BCCI is a bunch of losers and they have proved it by selecting Dhoni as the captain!!

Sourav Ganguly is the only heavyweight guy who you need to get under the skin of the Aussies!! Remember how he got under the skin of STeve Waugh by going late for the toss on a few ocassions??
Dada could play mind games and you do need to play mind games to unsettle the Aussies....

Certain selections also raise a few eyebrows; what are Poiwar and Karthick doing in the team??
As far as i'am concerned, Ramesh Powar and Dinesh Karthick should not be in the ODI team!! Karthick failed completely, both as a fielder and as a batsman in the recent England ODIs!!

By excluding Sehwag and young Rohit Sharma, the selectors have conveyed that they are still whimsical and foolish!!

The only good thing about this team is the axing of Munaf and Agarkar, both of who don't deserve a look-in again......

But the exclusion of Rohit Sharma is an unfair one considering the fact that the youngster never got his chances recently!!

It is a joke to re-instate Ganguly who finds it very difficult even to fit into a ODI team. First let him keep his place in the team Then he can think of becoming captain.

A joke for jokers & loosers !!! In 2007 Ganguly is the 2nd highest run getter in ODIs after Hayden taht too by playing lesser matches - come out of the taste of stale idly and rotten sambar!!! Chak de!!!

yeah with the pedestrian strike rate. Ganguly also brought the worst fielding and running between the wicket in 2007.

In fact you are anti-national. You are only agitated because a Bengali has not been made as captain and nothing else. I think you need a dose of nationalism and not regionalism.
