Why Agarkar is continuing in the team inspite of his failure both as a bowler and batsman? An allrounder who can neither bowl nor bat. What is the mystery behind his inclusion in the team irrespespective of whoever may be the captain? He seems to be the only permanent member in the team. The selectors don't seem to use the yardstick of performance based selection in his case. May be Agarkar must paying to them for his place in the team instead him being paid for playing in the matches! God only knows!

See what peoples verdict , no one is there to listen. Otherwise how scahin is going to be the Captain of India despite Ganguly gets over 75 % Peoples vote(as per NDTV).
It has been a practice in Indian cricket now to spoil a players natural instinct by assiging additional responsibilities. See the way Dhoni is playing in T20.Makes me think that Dravid is playing on behalf of Dhoni.His Extra-cautious attitude is causing him dearly...He should play his natural game.

its not only Agarkar but some other players like Dinesh kartik does not deserve their places. India Should do two changes for the next match . Yusuf Pathan in for Dinesh Kartk and Joginder sharma in for Ajit Agarkar

Why bashing Karthik? No one has spent single word for Yuvraj? Why is he in the playing XI? He can be the 12th man for fielding only? What is his performance in recent times ?

Kartik has not performed in a any single game in England and know in the two matches palyed here he is continouing his purpel patch

I feel, even Dhoni feels the same. But he is helpless. If he doesn't include him in the final XI , Dhoni will be thrown out the team by the Mumbai Lobby

Although dinesh kartik is a excellent talent but he is not doing justice to his talent.He drops atleaset one catch in every match and his batting has to improve atleast in odis.

Indian cricket team should play much against Asscoiate teams and second level teams more then concentrating on big countries.
India should play often against W.I. Bangladesh England Zimbabwe Kenya
I dont think indian team is fit enough to make to semi finals in any world cricket,say 20-20 0r50 over match.It is much a hyped side with much paid players.
The teams which will make it up to semifinals. 1.Austaralia 2.South afrika%uFFFD. 3.Sri lanka 4.New zealand.
Its certain Australia will win the cup very easily.
But Salary of australian players in not even 1/10 th of an indian players.Only god knows why........

Better ICC should start Test match WC which may last for 1 year. In that we can be in the Semi final and even in Final.
I think India should gift Agarkar to the team it is playing against. This way only can team India win. Agarkar belongs to the strong Bombay lobby, so they always take him in team. Playing Agarkar from oppositon will keep all the parties happy.

Gavaskar still appreciates openly AGARKAR this clearly shows there is lobbying in BCCI! Unless and until IND cricket leaves partial approach behind they cannot win against Cricketing Giants like AUS, SA, NZ and even they will struggle against ENG, PAK, BAN, WI!

To be very honest there's a disbelief in every Indian families that Agarkar can do a spoilsport definitely. Even my gradma will say "Oh Agarkar is bowling... they'll now start the flourish of 4s and 6s"... but our selectors ...A PAIN IN THE A**

Agarkar is playing in the team, not only for the Bombay lobby..Also for his father who is a IT officer...If Agarkar will not selected then all the BCCI member will be sent to jail...
Dhoni is captain now and he has to face the music.It is not an easy job being captain,that too of India.We want wins and heroics.!!But although the KIWI match was good and someone had to lose some lessons are to be learnt.On the bowling Agarkar has to go.Problem is there is no back up bowler.Look at the selection by Vengsarkar.Hence keep Agarkar or change to 2 spinners by taking Piyush though I fear he may also get mauled in this version.It is unreasonable to throw a classical leg spinner in the deep end like this.Agarkar may stay in the team under orders from Pawar/Vengsarkar.Sreesanth has to get his length right.He has to work with Venky and get it right.Irfan is looking fine.Big plus for Dhoni.How did he favour Yuvraj to Irfan with a third over?It cost us badly!Perhaps a win?R.P.Singh is doing O.K. but needs more control with those half trackers. But is the batting that is negative.Sehwag is good.Let him be.Get Karthik in at three with instructions not to dawdle and pierce the field with regular shots and not slog.He does not have the power.Dhoni goes slow.He has to get faster.His formula of waiting for 15 balls cannot work in this format.Yuvraj has given a bad show.Due!Uthappa can come late and be a big hitter.Many corrections to be done. Good thing India was not humiliated in this game.You have to lose some!!!

The way Indian Cricket and Players is treated in these is not really good for Indian Cricket, please stop these news channels and former players to stop talking too much on the matches, The formers players talks like they did not commit any mistake whenever they played for India. The news channels reports speak like they are god of cricket, everybody now they don't have zero knowledge.
Know come on to the math which India lost to New Zeland, its not mistake of Agarkar it mistake of the captain. The requirement of 20-20 cricket is a creative captain and creativity is missing from the Mr. Dhoni. After making 76 runs in 5.5 overs and loss of Sehwag wickets Dhoni had to send Irfan and Agarkar with advice of hitting if they score around 10 to 20 runs these runs definitely helped India instead of making these runs in sending all the batsman%u2019s in pavilion.

You are right. Dhoni is not there when it comes to innovations. But this is only 2nd match the he has captained. I differ on the opinion of using Agarkar as batsman he is no more a batsman, I can sign a certificate for that. We need on additinal pace bowler as Agarkar / Sreesant are not abble to contain in last overs.
