ENJOY the FIREWORKS
by Sai Prakash on Sep 17, 2007 04:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Deshwasiyon, to hell with the weak Indian Team.Let us all become Sports lovers first and not blindly support our own over hyped, politically selected team.I feel 20-20 is THRILLING to watch EVEN if Inida is not playing.I mean, look at the SA /WI match or Eng / SA match, Ind /NZ or even NZ/SL match. It was great viewing!! Gayle, Abie Morkel,Mcmillan and Jayasuriya (fantastic at 38) were AMAZING.Cheers to 20-20. Waiting for SA / AUS and today do not miss SL/PAK.

-25 OR 25 ALWAYS
by Sai Prakash on Sep 17, 2007 04:20 PM  Permalink

The fact is that because of our poor running between the wickets and poor fielding, we would always be -25 if Batting first meaning if we score 150 in 20 overs, the other team will feel they have to score 125 to win.The other 25 runs will be donated by our fielders.
In case we chase, because of poor running between the wickets, a score of 150 would be like 125 for the opposition, meaning the Opposition would be 25 without starting their innings.
A very uphill task for our team against athletic teams like Australia, South Africa, Enland, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. We will always have a chance against Pak, West Indies and Bangladesh because they are slower than us.

Prepardness of Indian Team
by Manisha Jindal on Sep 17, 2007 04:18 PM  Permalink

In my opinion, Indian team is not prepared for T-20 matches. It was just a chance what happened with Pakistan. These guys have been sent there to get the feel of T-20.

So, we are fool if we r keeping hope from them...... Just let them enjoy and u too enjoy while watching good cricket.......

Focasting
by ashok kumar on Sep 17, 2007 04:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Coming match against england
Agarkar bowling analysis:4(overs)-1(maiden)-3(runs)-2(wicket)
Yuvraj batting analysis:82(runs)-34(balls)-5(sixes)-10(four)
And again agarkar and yuvraj will be there in the team for atleast next 2-3 series.

Agarkar is good
by binu on Sep 17, 2007 03:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

why every one is so harsh on agarkar. pls do understand one thing..he is the only all rounder in our team. if kapil dev was not thr he should have been our best all "rounder" after the great sunil joshi!!!! so it is clear that he is a great man. he is the only indian all rounder who got "all rounds" while batting in a series. (i think he got seven "rounds") (forgot the series). so pls don't blame this "all rounder" eventhough he had given away thousands and thousands of runs without taking a wicket.

YUVRAJ must play well in the fore comming matches...
by maheshkumar on Sep 17, 2007 03:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian vice captain yuvraj must play well.
I don't see his mutch batting in this 20-twenty cricket.
If he is unable to play this type of cricket better for him not to play .
Agarkar and sreesanth are not playing well .
they are giving toooooo many runs .
better to replace them.

If venkitesh prasad give some more attention to sreesanth, he can bowl a lot better. the problem with him is, he tries to bowl each bowl in different ways. but about Agarkar, nobody have any hopes left.

Culprit of the match was yuvraj, who gave 25 runs in one over and played 7 balls to score just 5 runs. being senior in the team should do bit more and guide the team towards victory...

Missing Tendulkar in 20-20. He should be there in place of Yuvi, and Yuivi should be the 12th man for fielding in place of Sachin (for any excuse, like muscle pain etc.)
