Don't Blame Bowlers!
by milind more on Sep 17, 2007 11:45 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I really wonders when people straight away started Criticizing Indian Bowling as I feel Indian Bowlers did well as they restricts kiwi's to go beyond 200.
Even after a explosive and solid first wicket partnership, It was Indian middle order who didn't play well as expected.
It's 20-20 pattern and will always be difficult for bowlers and this is always be a batsman game. So Indians should understand their Batting weakness rather than criticizing bowlers..

Very true. The openers gave a flying start to India but as soon as Dhoni steped in he slowed down the game and made batting a heavy weather. Dhoni apni galti mano bowlers ko mut koso.

Take out Agarkar
by human manpower on Sep 17, 2007 11:43 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We have seen so many occassions that Agarkar has not all performed well in the crucial matches, he is influenced by top level people his bowling let loose and make the opponent sure of thier win. He is bad luck for India, take him out and replace some good allrounder.

Sack agarkar with immediate effect...He single handedly made India lose many matches...He is unfit to play at international level...He lack even ranji standards...It wuld be better if he quits by himself rather than pushing out of team holding his neck...Do not have politics in cricket...Winning is important rather

Yuvi is the batsman first..then bowler.

He should concentrate on his batting like he did in england tour. dont expect good bowling from him atleast in 20-20.

Final Overs
by Rajkumar Nair on Sep 17, 2007 11:42 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We are getting screwed up in the final 5 overs.. we should reserve 2 overs of Pathan and 1 over of RP Singh and 1 over of Sreesanth during the final overs.. Yuvi and Agarkar sure wont be able to control the flow of runs.. while pathan or RP should have done better...

For batting I think instead of Karthik I would go for Yusuf Pathan..who is a hard hitter and a spin bowler.. instead of using yuvi can use yusuf and shewag with Harbhajan on the other end.

We should use the first 6 overs for scoring and the next 9 overs should keep our wickets intact by scoring 6-7 runs in a over and from 15-20 overs we should acclerate again..

Sree is not the best choice perhaps. He lacks variations and crawl on his knees once thrashed.

Indian bowers are missing their basics. Maintaining line and direction is the best way to get wickets. In a game like T20, if one bowler gets 4 dot balls, there is always a chance for the next bower to get a wicket.

One big question, how come agarkar got a chance in T20 as well?

Ajit Agarkar not only be kicked out from Indian Team but also All the money that he has earned while playing should be taken away from him. He is shameless and untalented player who still has a place in Indian Cricket team.
Throw him out from Indian Cricket team as well don't need to bring him back in India, leave that shameless Agarkar in South Africa, let him suffer there only like Indian Team is suffering coz of him match by match.
What a Burden on Indian Team. I wish we will get better cricketer then him. Idiot ...!

Indian Team's Bowlers
by vishwanathan sridharan on Sep 17, 2007 11:40 AM  Permalink

I am repeatedly writing in the message that Ajit Agarkar should be sacked from the Indian Team and a useful bowler should be brought in. It is because of Dilip Vengsarkar's backing he his still kept in the team. After playing more than 150 one day internationals still he does not know the basics of Cricket Bowling, It is quite fishing on the part of selection by BCCI. BCCI should see from the angle of the Country on not on the basis of zonal preference on soon.

Future India team

This is wat condition of our indian team is even without sachin saurav & dravid...our team always have excuses for losing matches rather than capatalising to y they lost & recover it in next match...I think both matches against Scotland & pakistan were on LUCK rather than team's efforts...This is our FUTURE indian cricket team wen seniour players retire...Be ready to face the facts guys...still more loses to arrive before we downfall so much that we see India playing with other TEAM A players of other countries for practise matches.

Dhoni has lost his skill. He also put down few lbs to make him suitable for advertisement. I dont think he is having pressure of the post. He never had. He got to play a Captain's innings. Also Yuvraj is failing to deliver his responsibility.

Dhoni, has hit many sixes on the Ad campaigns, he is skillless now coz he is thinking that he could be a good batsman, but to be a batsman he need to have a ability to act like a batsman that he doesn't have. He is a Hitter and he can hit balls miles away, Dhoni be what you are and don't try to be what you are not.
You are good in hitting sixes and fours but not rotating strikes and taking singles, play your natural game if not leave the Indian Team and don't disappoint Million Viewers who want to see good match where people were giving them 100% just to make india win, and I am sure you are not giving your 100% coz you are just not playing well and you are playing rubbish since you become captain. When you don't handle the pressure why did you took the captainship. The leader should not be weak in any manner, see all other captains in other teams.
