why do you pick and choose words just to make the article more sensational. People should start filing contempt cases against such irresponsible journalism.

I 100% agree with this! When you first read the subject, you get the impression that he is criticising Dravid, but Rediff, in order to get more "eyeballs" tries to sensationalise it and try and project it as something bad. Please, you should be more responsible, or is it that this word does not exist in your dictionary?!?!?
It is gr8t 10lar and gnaguly and chief selctor who never supported or respected dravid%u2019s cpatincy and dravid made victim of dirty politis of 2 great excaptaisns.this started during SA tour, WC and chappell highlighted the dark side of dirty politics of tendulkar and ganguly but shown the door
ganguly and tendulakr scored some runs so that nobody will point the finger at them how both players throw the wkts when team required their service very badly in crucial matches. while bangadesh tour how they throw their wkt after scoring 100s gnaguly many times scored usful runs for self to save his place but thrown his wkt by playing faulty shots when team reqired service of superstar
dravid played under azar, sachin, gnaguly and gave 100% for team cause performed under pressure against strong bowling attack on foreing ptiches many times.
why sachin and ganguly could not reciprocate
ganguly and sachin never supported or respected dravid's cpatincy it was visible on field and sachin wanted to become captain now his going to be and ganguly did not want to harm stat of success as captains dravid did a good job as captain.but media always biased to dravid captain ;/ batsman
stat proved dravid has most winning average % in just 2 yrs as odi captain and he surpassed ganguly ;s 5yrs succes even with all these odds.
2ex captains and chief selector never supported dravid or respected him as captainy instead created more problems by promoting groupism in team and chief selector by giv
readers on rediff need not go any further to see the heights of masala and irresponsible journalism or sensationalism. at this rate, when there is no news, the journalists will go to any extreme. looks like rediif has a lot of jobless on board. the other thing of course is to take the reader for granted....DONT BLOODY MISLEAD WITH FALSE TITLES....GET A LIFE...
Its very insensitive to have a headline like this for one of the great captains of India. This looks very negative and feels like rubbing salt on a wound.God Save Indian cricket Team.

god save rediffmail .com for making it a headline YET AGAIN THEY HAVE PROVED THAT THEY ARE CONCERNED ONLY FOR THEMSELVES
Considering the public opinion and in order to be true to the facts, change the title immediately. "Dravid: a very good, knowledgeable and inspirational caption - Borde", would be a good option.
nothing that goes with the heading. Sorry Dravid.... These lunatics media will be after you, doesnt matter if u play well or u underperform....Sorry Mr. Borde for cursing you in the begening ..the heading was totally misleading.....cheers

I totally agree. Perfect example of how the media has killed a superstar. Clearly shows where rediff's loyalties lie. What a dirty attempt to soil the repuatation of India's best captain. Cheap shot, guys. I really expected better of you.

Will rediff kindly make an exception in this case and CLARIFY why it chose that particular line for the headline?
one look at the headline and u would think that the Mr Borde is taking a swipe at Dravid..in fact which is not he is doing in the Interview. Looks like u r waiting for the Dravid well-wishers to draw daggers at borde/sachin/mumbai.
we all want india to do well..whether is dravid/saurav/sachin at the helm..

you are 100 Percent correct, sachine is the most troublesome senior player for dravid, as long as sachin is in the team his friends agarkar, and all maharashtrians will play whether they score or not it is immaterial in good picthes - in australia and south africa he will not play and say some kind of injuries ,

I feel Sachin Tendulkar is the best cricketer India has ever produced and I feel sorry for Mr. Kulkarni to pass such remarks about a greatest batsman. Why don't you remember the time when he was made captain, Mohammad Azhruddin other players didnot co-operated hime and they ensured that India to loose each and every test. Almost majority of the players were non-co-operating and even working against Sachin Tendulkar. We Indian should feel proud of the kind cricket our country has produced rather than be jaleous of his skill and capability. Even during 2003 world cup when he was in superb form he was denied the balling in order to ensure that he shouldnot get player of the tournament award but finally he got it. Sachin Tendulkar got out so many times due to bad umpiring and got harrassed in his own country's team due to the jaleousy of his capabilities. Why Rahul Dravid declared the inning when Sachin Tendulkar was on 194 runs? How much more time he is going to spend to get another six runs? Hardly 5 ~ 10 mins more but Rahul Dravid declared the inning but still Sachin Tendulkar contributed for the team. We always blame him that he is playing for his own records and whenever he scoring the runs India don't win. This is a negative thinking. Can any cricketer play like this? Cricket is a game of uncertainity and no cricketer can decide when he has to play or not. So my dear friends instead of blamming others first you check about yourself and your achievements.

Rightly said. But the same rule is applicable to you too. Sachin has already made a name in world cricket for which whole India can be proud. So your sympathy is out of place.
