What an unfit title??? Shame on you Rediff
by Santosh Hiremath on Sep 17, 2007 11:59 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rediff needs to do some soul searching w.r.t. titling an article. Chandu Borde would agree 200% with me. He definitely did not mean to belittle Dravid... while the title does.

Agreed. The title has been made deliberately sensational to attract readers to read the interview, which otherwise may not find many readers.

Cheap Comments on Regional/Liguistic Basis
by bharat on Sep 17, 2007 11:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Marathi Friends,

There are some individuals trying to make Dravid's resignation a regional/lingustic issue. Please do not report these messages as abuse. By making such comments, these individuals are showing how cheap and immature they themselves are. Let everybody read these messages and judge by themselves. Remember that a crow's curse cannot kill a cow. Let them continue to curse.

Andy, I have seen enough of your pro-mumbai comments. Please understand the following...

Dalmia kept Kiran More to satisfy western lobby, thinking he (Dalmia) was doing wise thing.

It was Kiran More who always bargained for Agarkar.

Now u understand the link?

I know Mumbai is a good place and people are also nice here. But why u people exihibit your parity so opoenly?

Wake up

Agarkar had been in the Indian team for nearly the last 10 years, most of which were covered by Jagmohan Dalmia at the helm of BCCI. Barring his first couple of years in cricket, Agarkar has been as erratic as he is today. Therefore, it is stupid to link his presence in the team to Sharad Pawar. If he is in the team because of Sharad Pawar for the last 2 years, it can be said that he was in the team because of Dalmia during most of the previous 6 years!

Sachin's greediness made rahul lost his job
by chella krishna on Sep 17, 2007 11:46 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sachin was so hungry to regain captancy that he made Rahul agree to step down. Sachin is so cunning that he made his erstwhile enemy Ganguly a friend and both made Rahul's life miserable (dressing room). Rahul was tired physically and mentally by these two guys, particularly Sachin who was eager to become captain once again to prove that he is a good captain.

Sachin you should join politics alongwith Ganguly. India will definitely shine. Sachin you are better than Lalu yadav.

Incorrect Timing

Dravid should have waited till the end of 20-20 world cup. He announced his resignation from the cpataincy when the team was about to play the match and I feel this caused some kind of disappointment among other players.

by Karan Shan on Sep 17, 2007 11:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I frankly dint like the way Redff.com took one line out of the interview about Dravid being netiher flamboyant , nor demonsrative, and made it the headline of the article, giving the impression to somebody jst glancing at it, that Mr. Borde was actually criticising Dravid. Which I'm sure gets more attention. Thats cheap tabloid tactics, and I'm dissapointed that Rediff would do it.
