In tests his economy rate is what it is acceptable in one-dayers (around 4-5 runs per over). In one-dayers his economy rate is what it is acceptable in 20-20 (6-7 runs per over). I think that in 20-20 his economy rate would be over 10-12 runs per over. He is now pretty much pedestrian, lost his pace and is very inconsistent. It is pity that even after 10 years of playing for the country, we cannot count him to lead the attack. The less said about his batting the better. Why the hell are we selecting him?

good one; its a gud side on paper for sure !! they shud have atleast 4 genuine bowlers and 3 or 4 who can turn their arm over as its important to be flexible in this format;hope this team does well in the tournament; All the best Team India !!!

What is the term "Senior" and Junior has to do in International cricket. All are international cricket players. As long as one performs he is good enough to stay. It does not matter whether he is senior or junior. Just coz you are 40 years will you stop everything in your life and give it to your son who is younger

Excellent point Nandakumar. All this senior-junior talk is nonsense. As long as the players are playing well and achieving the benchmarks they should be selected. While at the same time, youngsters should be groomed so that they can take over when the seniors retire.

Out of the top 4 MVP positions, three are the aging stars.So juniors did nothing. Just by being young does not gaurantee success or talent or both.
We will see what Indian juniors do in 20-20, which is waytoo short to judge talent.
Any SO B can play and win 20-20, example, Zimbabwae won against Australia.@0 overs is too short to rebuild from a collapse, and hence any i diot can win.And still the juniors will come bag soon, wat and see.

BCCI should send sachin for Twenty-20 world cup. B'cos we want india to win this cup. & Sachin is top scorer in last 3 series.he is the only inform & consistant batsman these days. Do doubt that Sachin is still The Best. that he al ready prooved in last series.no one in indian team near by sachin in last three series.so he shuold be called for Twenty-twenty also. if we want india to win, we need to have sachin in the team.he is the only who can give us victory
