Predict winning percentage after this series
by Thalaivar on Sep 10, 2007 02:13 PM  Permalink

I would like to see the 20-20 winning percentage of India after this world cup. The more we play, the more likely that it will get dropped. But the best part here is that the oldies are rested, as this form of match requires dynamic filders.

With 100 % record , India should be the favorites .
Now that's the height of optimism .

Do u know who Yousuf pathan is ? He is a spinner who can bat ..I dont think he suits for the opening slot, instead sehwag shud open and there shud be place for kathick ..Rest of the team ..I agree with you

Who said Karthik cannot hit... He has been moulded in ODIs as an ideal no.7 batsmen and he had saved several matches for India along with his peers Dhoni and Yuvraj at no.7... Just becoz of Dravid's stupid experimentation, he was promoted to 1 down and lost his place from ODIs... Otherwise he is very consistent in his usual 6 or 7 down... He is a batsmen who can throttle the innings whenever needed and also steady the innings when required...

1. Sehwag
2. Uthappa
3. Gambhir
4. Yuvraj
5. Dhoni
6. Y. Pathan
7. I. Pathan
8. A. Agarkar
9. H. Singh
10. P. Chawla
11. RP. Singh

I choose Agarkar coz theres no diff. b/w sreesanth n agarkar in terms of inconsistent n expensive bowling. But Agarkar can bat better.

Dinesh Karthik vs Gambhir: Karthik cant bowl, shows too much enthu on the field but cant field that well. Gambhir is an excellent fielder & a Left-handed batsman.

Y. Pathan, as hes known as a big hitter, excellent fielder & a useful spinner.

P. Chawla is too good to be left out.

Sehwag should open.

RP Singh should be chosen coz hes economical, has wicket-taking ability & more importantly a left-armer .. this adds variety to our attack.

So the above team should play at all times barring injury or bad form. Our reserve strength is not bad either:

Karthik
Rohit Sharma
J. Sharma
S. Sreesanth
