When Monty panesar went to australia, the crowd jeered at him and called him "Stupid Indian" ""Give us a wave Monty," the spectator shouted. "You can't speak English you stupid Indian, I'll have to say it in Indian. The Television camera work, and the police are supposed to be more efficient than us? What action did ICC / CA take against such an open abuse as compared to a mimic of monkey (Which i personally feel was more abuse on the primate that the Arrogang Aussie Mate!) Time our media gave up the colonial and servile mental attitude and gave a cold shoulder to the Ricky Ponting (Remember his night club misadventures and misbehaviour in Kolkatta in 1999)and his most arrogant and over rated team! Why doesnt the media dig out the misdeeds when they have better resources than an individual like me and splatter them on the grinning ape face of ponting! Final piece - he was disappointed Kartik didnt walk out in mumbai, but chides gilchrist when he walks on his own and advices it is umpires job to give a batsman out and incumbent upon the batsman himself!

Bang on Natraj. Basically our media is incompetent and like our netas most of time is into full time job of currying favours (monitery or otherwise) from various quarters. Actual work of journalism comes much later. Wait till Indian team is racially abused (and they have been in past too) on our next tour of Australia and watch how Aussie media run them down when they would complain abt the same. Actually kutton ko ghee hazam nahin hota aur hum indians ko power hazam nahin hoti...phir wo chahe neta ho ya journalist!
