This is more of a case where my Skin is white and i will abuse you. If you do so you are getting over the limit. Everyone knows the famous spat between Glenn Mcgrath and Ramnaresh Sarwan and who instigated it. Slater (comes across as a saint these days in his commentator shoes) pointing fingers animatedly at Srinivas Venkatraghavan (Umpire and Former Indian Test player). I guess the Australians thought the only way to rattle the indians is by making racist comments themselves and put the blame on the spectators. Aussies play Cricket and not dirty games..
1. YUVRAJ DHONI STRUGGLING. GAMBHIR, ROHIT NO MATCH PRACTICE. ONLY UTHAPPA IS LOOKING GOOD IN BATTING. WHAT ABOUT BOWLING. NO HOPE.
2. AUSTRAILIA IN 20-20 WERE BELOW PAR BECASUE OF LACK OF MATCH PRACTICE. BUT NOW ALL HARD HITTERS ARE IN FORM. GILY,PUNTER,SYMONDS, ANY OF THEM CAN WIN MATCH EASILY.
One has to remember what is now happening with Ind-Aus teams does not even happen with Ind-Pak teams!
They even applaud good innings by Pak and every other player in every other team including Windies whose team consists of mostly dark skinned people.
Why? Because Paki cricketers (and cricketers from most other countries) are respectful and Indian team and Indian fans give back that respect.
Ponting-Gilcrist-Symonds come here and give statements against Tendulkar-Dravid-Sourav that their presence will help Aus team win, they taunt Dhoni and challenge him to come in to bat earlier in the order, opine that Murali Karthik should have walked after nicking the delivery to keeper in the 7th ODI, mock on our 20-20 win celebrations, swear at Pathan/Harbajan when they score boundaries, make fun of Harbajan's religion (turban) etc etc.
When people give it back to them what do they do? They play the RACE card and run crying to ICC/CA/BCCI....wah re wah!!!
This is any abusive act committed against a person or their property because of their race, ethnic background, religious belief or skin colour. It includes bullying, assaults, harassments, threats or being called names.
If symond thinks he is monkey then agree with him it is racial abuse
Racism is rampant in Australia and Symonds has often been the target by fellow Australian cricketers and officials there. By making it an issue against Indians, they are trying to take a high moral ground, now that Symonds is performing so well. I pity Symonds and my anger is not so much against him but against Ponting, Malcolm Speed and Co
I was watching the match at from the North stand of the stadium. When Brett Lee was feilding on the fence, the crowd was chanting "Brett Lee is a Bas...d".He just turned around and happened to look at me for a while. I was ashamed and had to put my head down with shame. In other countries kids would have been seeking autographs. Using abusive language doesnot make India a better Team. I am of the opinion that such acts only misguide the illiterate, embarases the women present, and opens unwanted debates.

The main problem is that the media has fueled this situation. What the Aussies do is pass coments while the opposition is playing. The Indians think that by displaying boorish behavior by physical acts rather than oral comments is the appropriate response. As a result with the media adding fuel to the fire we have a situation which has gone out of control.

well said ... Even i was sitting in the same stand...and i heard aaa ooo aaa ooo aussies are bas...td I was so myuch ashamed to be among those people.. we have come there to watch some sports and have some fun ...not to insult players of any nation...
They didnt stop with this... even when dada was fielding in the fence.. i heard many shouting " Who is the part time husband of Nagma " ..
Attitude of our people are cheap many a times.. they will rather change or will never accept the post we post here... rather they keep justifying their cheapness and abusing us as well... Shameless !!!
