Obviously.....he was the president of ACB....BTW rumour has it that Symonds went barefoot and wore a cowboy hat for a contract meeting with him
Ricky, Ask your guys to be spectator friendly and not make any gestures to incite them to make monkey sounds. Ask Symonds to say Namaste to the stands to start with so that they will cool down and in all probabilities, will warm up to him. Enjoy your stay and do not make premature conclusions on racism as you do not know our languages and culture.
Symonds claims he's not complaining about the issue!
The MEDIA took it too far...
....Sure Mr Symonds we understand your problems! Next time don't forget to bring a sari and bangles...you'd be a perfect Bahu for Balaji and Ekta! Kkorrect?
Ps:- Don't abuse our mate Andy.....the Mumbai police will track you down....

The main problem is that the media has fueled this situation. What the Aussies do is pass coments while the opposition is playing. The Indians think that by displaying boorish behavior by physical acts rather than oral comments is the appropriate response. As a result with the media adding fuel to the fire we have a situation which has gone out of control.

true. icc the racist body who always find fault with asian countries
In all of India Chennai has the most sportive crowd. Remember Pakistan had a victory lap after winning the close match and series in Chennai, the entire stadium was present and gave a standing ovation. Asif iqbal once told Chennai is my favorite crowd. When Hayden got his double century, the entire stadium gave a standing ovation, yet another instance. I am a chennaite, i dont deny it, but what i told is also a fact everyone has seen. The crowd is patriotic, but matured as well to appreciate talent. Despite that Chennai doesnt seem to get frequent matches. Its all the game of Mr. Pawar.

I'm not making a divide here. U can follow a good example set by others. If Aussies follow racism, let them do it and there are people to take care of that (umpires and players themselves). Audiences are to enjoy the excitement and thats it. If Aussies eat shit, will u follow that ????
