I remember, The Aussie players abused Muralitharan as "Black" during a series in Australia. Players to players abuse each other, I dont find anything bad about it. It happens in every country. Be cool aussies..
RE:Nothing bad about it

here we are talking about the abuse by the spectators not b/w players....and that's bad..
There is no need for the Aussies to make an issue out of this matter, as every visiting Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, ZImbabve, West Indies team will testify. They are the biggest racial abuser in the world. They just cannot tolerate things being said to them, but they have the liberty to say anything they want....
In fact of all teams sports played across the world, the Aussie cricket team has the worst behaving pattern, when they play at home or abroad. They just dont have the guts to face things said to them, they write about it in Indian media (we know our media is the most stupid in the world bcoz we think white coloured skin is better than our brown / blackish). Does any other cricket playing media offer so many contracts to visiting teams to write in their newspaper !!! no but our media like to lick white asses....!!! I fully support the actions of some people to tried to equate Symonds with monkey !! well this is nothing when compared to Hashim Amla (South African player) being called a terrorist on television by an ex-aussie player ( and these days he writes a articles in our media)... Will anybody forget the incidence involving Javed Miandad and Dennis Lillee, my guess is there was a racist (below the belt) remark from the aussie fast bowler which provoked Javed to charge with a bat in hand towards Dennis... The latest incidence involving Aussie racisim was faced by Andre Nel (we know he does some mischief) but he was also subjected to racisim in Australia.

so players from other countries are NOT abused in India? What a hypocrite? Windies team complained about rac*st incidents in India.
From one of the papers "In 2002, the West Indies suffered racial abuse from ignorant crowds and one player privately admitted it was the worst he had received in the world. The Indian board and the Indian media want this issue to go away and so does everybody else, but it won't go away until the locals accept it is a serious issue and something that needs to be dealt with. "

I am sorry but I have never read in such thing about West Indies. I have read that West Indian players love visiting India. If they were racially abused why would they love going to India..

And the next time someone from India abuses someone else from India (which happens a lot in this forum) based on language, religion, caste, state etc., I hope to see people like you making rational points.
NO, Indian fans never a racist.,, it is just a prank.... everywhere Sachin is called as little Master , r all of them are racist ,it is bcos he is short comparitively.... Similarly Inzi was called as "ALU" before ... now even Media all over the world calls him as Gentle giant r they racist..
If Calling someone as LIttle or Giant is not an act of racism cetainly calling one as monkey is not racism
RE:Indians r never a racist
by aaaa on Oct 18, 2007 06:07 PM Permalink
inzi was called ALU and what did he do in return? Indians r never a racist - really; this from a country where people birth determines what they do, where they live etc.,
This is what Australian are doing with all the teams home and abroad. But I think this is first time that they have received replies in their own copyright style. Well done Indians. These red-faced monkeys should be treated axactly the same way as done here. To hell with ICC. They are very fast in sending letters to BCCI now, but keeping their eyes shut when Australians did that in past. Balls to ICC.

why don't you go and complaint to ICC for this if you are so sure about australians?...they have proved in front of whole world in televisions that we are racist...

In adition...... The High Profile People get away with the crimes they have commited, as they have money to shell out for Bail and then "Tarikh pe Tarikh"....
One person has knife and stabs the other person and the onlookers, hundreds of those, does not even bother to come forward to stop that.
Dear friend there are No of things which are wrong in India and we do nothing about it. We just write these bolgs and sit stating what I can do?
If you wish, I would take initiative and do something towards the improvement of the society, you can do it, without help of others.
Personally, I have done that and am doing it. Please take a step forward to the betterment of our society.

There is not more bad than good in my country. The evil has not penetrated and been absorbed into every level of society as it has India. I could wish as much on my country, but it'd serve no purpose, but on India, it'd be a net positive to humanity.

You are cursing the entire country for your personal tragedy. Had I been in your place i woudl have done that too.I dont see anything wrong in that.
But there are other nations who are worse than India. It's there everywhere to lesser or greater extent. Though we would like it not to happen with any single person. But do not blame entire country for that.

See above, if it were an isolated incident India wouldn't need clensing. But it's not, it's deeply ingrained to the extent that such evil is a cultural attribute of the Indian populace. If it were not, such occurances would be isolated incidents perpetrated by individuals, such is not the case.
And damaged goods? Yeah that's probably about the average Indian's thoughts on the matter, thus proving my point.

Why not? When it came out he went into hiding in shame then threatened to kill her if she didn't say she was lying. Her father knew some people and some money passed hands and your cops wrote it off as a DUI and I got the hell out of the country. One thing I learnt in India, justice can be absolute if you can afford it.

On the first account the police laughed and said she must have enjoyed it. She was 8 years old. On second attempt a relative of hers who holds some media influence came with her and the police told her nothing they could do, too long ago, basically put it in the too hard basket.

No, not all are like that, I understand that, but it's not an isolated incident. It's not just one sicko. It's ingrained into the Indian culture at every level. It's an industrialisation of the abuse of women, the poor and those who can not defend themselves. Go ahead and lie, and tell me that it's not true.

Chris, dude...you end up killing the man who raped your girlfriend while she was only 8. Though I would say it was a tragedy, I won't advise taking law into your hands. But, that tells enough of the justice in your place. If you are suggesting that things in India are not well, I wouldn't disagree...but before pointing the finger at others you should be absolutely sure that things at your end or your place is good enough....
And talking about you wish of seeing a "festering nuclear crater", it sure shows how sick you are and where you come from. Grow up man - think rational, think like a human if you can.. coz spittin out junk like others don't make you any different from the rest who are barking in here. If your different, then pls talk and act like an educated, humble, god-fearing human, and not like an animal. I'm feeling sad for your parents, coz you just insulted them....

Why stupid Utthapa ? he made India proud in many occasions recently !!!
just read the story given in australia newspaper about racism. http://www.theage.com.au/news/cricket/racial-abuse-interrupts-test-match/2006/01/04/1136050497196.html
SOUTH African bowler Andre Nel was racially abused for the second time this summer at the Sydney Cricket Ground yesterday.
Nel, perhaps the most animated player in the South African team, was branded a "kaffir" just before tea, further sullying the reputation of Australian cricket crowds.
Five players were abused in Perth, and the South Africans revealed there was abuse in Melbourne at the Boxing Day Test also.
South African coach Mickey Arthurs expressed his disappointment at the latest outburst, saying that to his knowledge Australia was the only country where South African players had been racially abused.
Australian captain Ricky Ponting echoed the South African coach's disappointment.
The racial taunt emanated from the Bay 17 section of the SCG. The South Africans claimed at least one member of a group of drunken fans, highly visible in white T-shirts and fluorescent yellow caps, yelled the remark around 3.30pm.
Nel informed his captain, Graeme Smith, who in turn told umpires Billy Bowden and Aleem Dar. All stood in the middle of the pitch for some time, pointing to the culprits, and an announcement warning against further racial abuse was made over the public address system. The International Cricket Council's security chief, John Rhodes, and match referee Chris Broad were immediatel

Well Yuvraj should make the comments open, which instigated him to take on the Aussies. Ponting should consider himself lucky. If the comments were made by yuvraj, the Aussies would have had a tough time from that day onwards.
