Australians abusive language
by Lakshman on Oct 18, 2007 09:24 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We have seen so many times the Australians (including Symonds) indulging in verbal volleys which no one can write or can hear. But mind you, all our cricketers all over the world swallowed it. Where was ICC or CA? Did they take action against any of the Australians. Indian fans gave a fitting reply. Can ICC or CA do anything? Ofcourse nothing. What is happening is all started by Australians only. Please wash yourself before pointing fingers to anyone. This may a good lesson for ICC, CA and particularly Australian players. It is better for the game of cricket to make Australian cricketers shut their mouth in field and hope CRICKET BE AGAIN A GENTLEMAN'S GAME.

Sorry dude hurling racial abuses not acceptable....Go see Times of india....Caught on camera were the people....Just because the aussies hurl abuses does not mean we need to stoop to their culture...We are a culture not made from a few 100 years rather a few 1000 years...so we got to act more mature....plain simple BCCI cant deny now...

Mr. Ravi

I think in the past people like you were there in the past and the result India was slave of Britishers.

Don't Tell about the Times of India Newspaper which is financed by european Country.

There are several occasions of Australians Abusing other players around the world in Australia, but no pictures were taken and hence nothing happened and when it was exactly the opposite reaction, Australians are complaining?

So Just keep your mouth shut.

That 1000 year old culture thing doesn't surprise me at all. I mean a country that allows thugs to steal children at will so that they can cut off their limbs and send them to beg for them out on the street sounds like something from the dark ages.

Brother Lakshman,
We should not defend the wrong doers. Its pathetic to see such kind of behavior by the wrong people in the field of sports too. Yes! I agree some Australians are racist. But can we justify our wrong behavior by saying that.

Jail Shahrukh Khan and Unilever executives for racism
by Anurag Shrivastava on Oct 18, 2007 09:21 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Both as we know are of foriegn decent and white skins who are trying to show we Indians are ugly and that we will become "fair and lovely/handsome" by using their stupid creams. I think before we haul up the spectators , we must first jail the above people for racist behaviour for telling Indians that their skin is bad and should be like that of white people.

Racism is a slur on humanism, that too in the 21st century, when man should be known as man only. These things might be acceptable in the middle ages. There is racism in the USA and also in Europe to a large extent (it is very acute in Germany), and that should not be imitated in India. In fact we Indians should teach the so called humanist in the West what actually is meant by humanity. Let us erase all sorts of racism etc. and follow the dictum: 'One world, one mankind'.

RE:Racism feeling by indians - no way
by Anurag Shrivastava on Oct 18, 2007 09:24 AM  Permalink
I don't see how this is racist. This is more an issue of religious intolerance and nationalism. Telling foriegners to leave is perfectly fine. We don't want Bangladeshis to settle in our country either which is legitimate.
USA - They want to see that All muslims leave their country
UK - They want to see that All asians leave their country

Who told you we have problems with legitimate bangladeshis we are talking about illegal immigrants. Our worry is cross border terrorism. Where are you when this happens. Our policy is simple you get what you give. This rubbish about the complaining Australian team has been happening for too long. In fact Symmonds instigated it by feeling Jealous of the Indian team celebration after the T20 world cup and coming out with rubbish comments of it. He continued the same attitude in the series along with Hayden who is another guy with abundant talent but has a bullying nature of a local rowdy sheeter. Remember Shane Warne went ahead and called jayasurya as a black Monkey where were these so called protectors against racism when the Australian country in whole did the mental disintegration of Muralidharan by chanting no ball. Enough of this pseudo racism. I personally feel doing monkey chants has nothing to do with racism. all of us descended from Monkeys so what is the big deal. This issue is because of SYmmonds himself who mistook chanting of ganapathi hymns for monkey chant. that gave our crowd an idea to irritate them. I just want this guys to stop signing for ICL if they feel India is racial.

Fair and handsome ..Mr Shahrukh Khan.. at least on that count Symonds is better than 99.99% Indians !
by Anurag Shrivastava on Oct 18, 2007 09:16 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Racial abuse is probably the most abhorrent form of human behaviour. But I agree that at least outwardly , very few whites display racist behavior. In case of Indian, that probably is an exception. The reason is that we are neither white nor black and would want to show ourselves as being same as Aryans ( with a tan ) and use that as a license to abuse anyone who shows less Aryan features ( darker skin, thick lips , curly hair and the like ). The most hilarious episode was Shilpa complaining of racism while putting dollops of skin bleach every night in the big brother show. We are Indians , we are like you whites and we can be if we use acid to take off one layer of our skin to become white...

Australians are the first people who started mis-behavior, sledging in international cricket. They think themselves as superior team many times they won the matches by these things. First ban them from international cricket

When Aussies do..
by Rosy Monty on Oct 18, 2007 09:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why the media is after Indian fans? Why can't they recollect how Montey Panesar of England wa abused. I would like to quote the exact verabl abuse made by Aussies " .. You don't even know how to talk in English, don't call yourself English..."

Why the slaves of Indian news reporters are still licking western foot? Why can't they write better things and if not be unbiased.

There is nothing racist about what was said about Monty. An Englishman ought to be speaking English ... but you should stop using fairness cream and start boycotting Shahrukh for his racist behaviour.
