Anand, I feel sorry for you....either you are ignorant of what has prevailed in the cricketing world for many years....please wake up. I feel ashamed of you... what the crowd did was not racist, but it was just teasing an idiot...if you wear a saree and play cricket, won't your neighbours make fun of you...tell me you little buff.
if u play ur game fair without indulging in all that on field monkeying in the name of mental disintegration u will be treated fairly. before looking out and crying over how ppl treat u look within and how ur own attitude has been towards others. after all, what u sow is what u reap!!!!
It is really a shame on the part of Indians to behave in such an uncivilized manner. If our team is not capable of fighting the Aussies on the field and win it dosent mean that we should take revenge on them by behaving like this. After all what right one has to comment on others appearence. Are everyone Shahruk's and Salman's in India. Dont forget every human on earth is a predecessor of monkeys. Some may question abt the behaviour of Aussies. The way they behave is left to them, if a human bites a dog since it bit him then what is the differenve b/w humans and animals.

Mr.Venkatesh..Ask any team in any sport, especially sub-continent guys touring Australia they will share their experiences of bad crowd behaviour.it's nothing but a tit for tat...lets go down to give respect and take respect.Indians of 70,80,90's gave respect..inturn they were shown disrespect at many places..why still have the same mindset.Let's change.

We should hope good for those who feel bad for us and that is how we stand tall in front of them.If we also start behaving the same way there is nothing to gain and everything to lose.

You can write volumes about the capabilties of Indian players but who has given the moral right to Symonds to abuse all Indians in writing.
They have fair skin , it does not mean that they are fair in their heart, thought, speech and action.
Aurtralians are not known for being descent. Look what they did to the Indian doctor in Australia for his political game. Humiliated to the maximum extent and no word of regret when they could not prove him guilty.
Why ponting pushed Powar from the dias, it is because of arrogance and bad blood running in their vein.
Why symonds fought with Sreesanth, Zaheer , Irfan and even Tendulkar. It is their arrogance.
They can not understand a gandhisn reply. They will understand the language of Hitler alone.

Venkatesh ... you are crazy man. How can you talk about civilized and uncivilized behaviour??? what do you mean...how do you define civility... If an animal barks at you for many years, will you not shoo him, this is what our team did to the aussie animals...and they are ranting about racism....crap. Take it easy and think about civility my friend...

What r u teaching me about civilization. Though the way we treat others does not entirely define the word 'civilization' it is definitely a part of it. Understood?

Stupid Chris....when you speak like this for India, do write a para about similar things happening in Oz....stupid mad, go on read, "The Australian" Sydney Morning Herald, The Telegraph and let;s have a chat.
RE:RE:RE:worst people

Because I'm nice, I'll educate you.
First things first. The "Stolen Generation" is a general term coined to describe the removal of children from their aboriginal mothers who had fathers of non-aboriginal birth. It was enacted and carried by the Government of the day. It was not literally a whle generation stolen.
It was a disgusting and horrible act performed in a different age where people were of different beliefs and Australia is certainly not proud of it, but neither does it deny it, rather responsibility was taken long ago and such policies have certainly been done away with, overwhelmingly crushed by government through the people's democratic will.
Now back to modern day, there are not nearly the examples of evil occuring in Australia to offset that which occurs in India.

well Australia have a population less than our one single state. This is bcoz some of fathers of Australians looted India for 200 years by means of cheat ,steal and win policy. India do not "made"by the criminals of London. Criminals generally behave well wid demselves. As a famous Indian word"baap numberi to beta dus numberi" Moreover most of the australians dont work and they have a stagnant economy. Govt pays unemployment salary to keep beggars away.So in a way Australians are bigger beggars dan us. I studied in Oz so u cant make me fool Cris
RE:worst people
by chris on Oct 18, 2007 10:32 AM Permalink
Having a smaller population should mean such things occur comparitively less, but they don't, they just don't happen.
It is a weak country and weak race that would allow itself to be 'looted for 200 years', by an occupying force with a smaller ratio of soldiers to civilians than any other occupation force in the world, ever.
Australia's unemployment rate is close to 4%, which is approaching full employment, the economy is more than strong on the back of a resource boom and no foreign debt. I highly doubt you studied in Australia as your English skills here indicate you wouldn't pass the IETS.
But keep blaming the white man for the acts of Indians, after all, India certainly needs an excuse for its filth, or else it'd have to admit and deal with it.

Only 22% of Australia's population is descended from convicts, Australia is among the most multicultural Countries on Earth, in fact it is widely regarded as the second most behind Canada, and far more multicultural than India.
Asthough that has anything to do with anything anyway.

Hi Junta, According to my openion Mr. . Symonds deserves those comments just because he abused some of (Viz. Bajji, Zaheer, Sreeshanth...) Indian players in filed (as we saw in live TV).

And our players are like such sissies that they need a mob to support them ? shame on Bhajji, Zaheer and Sreesanth ( who actually behaves like a real monkey )

True...but did u try analysing what these so called Indians (Bajji, Zaheer and Sreesanth) must have said to him???
In the previous match he told that the crowd comments charged him up and he made a century, thats why the cricket loving people of mumbai was trying to charge him up to see the best from him....

the australians truly deserve what they got. i think this is the best way to respond to the sledging that they do on the field. The australian players have no moral right to complain abt racial abuse when they and thier people back in australia themselved do it. I think they are getting back what they give to others. The australian players should first try to behave well themselves on the field and they try to preach others abt racism.

actually mumbai politicians are racist before saying all non marathi should go away from maharastra , now that bug has got into the people, like leaders like people, and vice versa... long live their attitude(sarcastic),,,,,
Are we going to behave in a uncivilised way bcoz the Aussie crowd also does that. This kind of behaviour was unnecessary. Ofcourse the Aussie team also is taking it a bit too far. As a sportsperson, they should understand, if there is a passionate crowd of 50K watching, there is bound to be some comments passed and they should take it in their stride. If one remembers, there was one Greg Mathews in the Aussie team way back in the eighties. The audience said a lot to him when he used to field near the boundary but he took it in the right spirit and interacted with them. He became a darling of the crowd all over India. It seems everything has become so hostile nowadays.

You dont have to control 50,000 people just arrest 50 of these low lives and others will automatically fall in line. This is basically arising out of frustration on the part of Indian fans
RE:A monkey
by Anurag Shrivastava on Oct 18, 2007 09:37 AM Permalink
just wait till the Indian team reaches Australia. The crowds will take it out on our players because of the stupidity of people like you and they will come back defeated and disgraced. And they will do it with such subtelity that you will not even be able to accuse them of racism.
This is extremely serious stuff...These things shouldnt happen when west indies come to india...A couple of years back monkey taunts were hurled at the england football team in spain and it was never too pleasant for the players.....We need to look into this matter...In india the moment we hear somebody gets irritated by a particular way we are ready to pounce on him....The photo showing the people making the monkey gestures were disgraceful...Nobody can now deny this did not happen...and worst of all those people who were doing it on the photo looked like some of the most educated citizens of this country....Its sad but BCCi should take action on this.....India will pay dearly if this goes on....
