Aussies Sucks
by joney tilak on Oct 10, 2007 04:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr.Gavin, So Aussies will throw verbal abuses about Cricket only?? Surprising - Then how would you calssify McGrath walking up to Ramnaresh Sarwan and asking "How does Lara's Di** look like?"- Is this a cricket comment? You guys suck big time. You hate when you get it back. Grandfather's army - its show time. Unfortunately its India's Show mate. Wish you could read this.

McGrath probably wished to suck it. He must have queried Lara himself.

What made him write this ?
by rakesh on Oct 10, 2007 04:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I don't know what made him write this article. Is it due to loss they have recieved in the last match or the 20/20.It may also because of the fact that he did'nt like seeing indians recieved after the 20/20 .

What he should know and respect is the fact that man-to-man india have a better side than sustralia except in the fielding. If india stay wicketless for the first 20 overs then its all over for australia.

It's useless to say that are not intimidated by indians. You have to understand that Symonds got out to Sreesanth 4 times in this series .All those 4 wickets are bowlers wicket.

In Kochi also, we would have won, if we had batted first. Dhoni was misled by the weather and Sreesanth's hometown expectations.

One must also state that the australians are cheats. The way Dravid's catch was claimed clearly shows that. This was the performance in Twenty20 also when I saw the replays about many catches claimed by australians.
It is shame that even 3rd upmpire gave it in favour of australians when dravid was given out.

why was this article published in the first place?
by anil babladi on Oct 10, 2007 03:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Gavin, The so called successful Oz side has faultered against zimbabwe, pakistan, India-once in t20 and once in a 50... and more to come. So stop the crap there. There is nothing about mental attitude here mite, because Ozs are showing farting from their mouths. Guess what "who is f!@$ your missus" is not a small comment. The price of failure is reminded more by Ganguly and not by Oz. So learn that fact first. Pressure expectation equals failure and when others use the same it is double failure for Ozs. That ozs and you are not understanding. Its simple, you are saying that Oz does something and it annoys everyone but when others do it does not annoy them, then why are they crying like a baby? Who told you standing up to them does not involve talking back? You've been murdered time and again in the one test you played against India and on top of it, you are saying to Indians how to react? Is the egg teaching the hen? Its clearly understood that your article is suggesting that Oz are losing their head. And hence they are irritated at every single thing. Unlike what you think, they do not like it. Steve Waugh can never live up to his billing. No batsmen in the history of world cricket apart from Sachin Tendulkar has lived. Steve Waugh was sledged in the entire Series of 2001 when you toured apart from first test and he could succeed but more often he failed. So stop your pig crap and give the same pep talk to Oz, and the title of it should be "Don't push Indians too far"

Ya gavin has made some excellent points. One should target weaknesses of opponents and not fall for it.

Lets also accept that Aussies are the best team in the world and to really beat them India may have to learn from him.

Mind games in sports is something we are very poor at which has been practiced and perfected by many of leading sporting countries.

Well thanks gaving... hopefully this article reached our Indian think tank and we can utilise it.

What Gavin has said in his article makes lot of sense. Everone in the Cricket fraternity knows that Aussies are bad losers and indulge in more sledging when they are losing. We have a young team who should do well at the International level if they keep thei cool and play to their potential instead of harping on othe opposition's behavious on the field. The focus should be on the game rather than individuals.
We have our weakness too as sport loving public we are not being fair to our players- we heap lots of prizes once they win a tournament and at the same time we have fanatics throwing stones at the platersresidence if they lose. It is these kinds of action which put pressure on our players.
The average Australan thinks highly of the talent our team has but keep saying we have not been able to exploit their full talent as a teamand according to them we are the only team atleast on paper who can pose a threat to their supremacy in the game. Let us hope in the next 3 games we show our true potential and win against them. Dont forget Sresanth is going to be atarget of the Aussie crowds when they come downunder and so he better make amends now and show his credentials in the game.

Gavin Robertson has written as though Australia have never been beaten in a game of cricket. What he needs to know is that India are the world twenty/20 champions. They have beaten Australia in the last one dayer. Why is he projecting Australia to a divine level? If Australians are playing cricket let them play cricket. Indian fans can also indulge in the same tactics as Australians. But we don't. We watch to enjoy cricket. Grow up guys...grow up Australian cricketers.

Aussies are doggies
by on Oct 10, 2007 03:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Once upon a time, when India was playing well in Australia and when Dravid was batting astout, umpire ruled out a catch. The Australians surrounded Rahul Dravid like dogs. Dogs can be shown from the top angle camera. Dogs barking against Dravid. Did Gavin saw such agression as mental agression?
