Let us take this in right spirit
by sreegadu on Oct 10, 2007 11:37 AM  Permalink

Let us not take things in the negative way. Some people tell something becuase thety want very much to tell what they feel. May be he is like that. Let us all take POINTS WHICH ARE VERY BRIGHT IN HIS ESSAY AND WHICH ARE EXACT AND QUIET CLEAR. let us not criticise him. We are not knowing why he did this.

Australian cricketers
by P Ramanathan on Oct 10, 2007 11:30 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This shows their historical roots. In the early times, they were commoners, fortune seekers, religious dissenters and even criminals. Basically they immigrants from many western countries. They were the underclass looking for better living. It is not surprise to see their misbehaviour in the Cricket field.

yup.. that makes a lot of sense... But I guess Raman you were lil too soft.. Australia is historically been the place of murderers, rapists..and criminals thrown out of their countries in Europe.. They have also eliminated the abroginies (native Australians) rather than assimilating them into their society....Can't expect more from a culture like that..

Thanks Varghese for putting it in the right words. Aussies are most desperate to win, I guess even more than Zimbabweans. Players from no other team stoop so low in disturbing the opponent's concentration. Remember, India also played 7 ODIs with England recently and I am sure that nobody would remember even one incident of the kind we see in every game with Australia. The same thing could have been seen when Australia is playing England or even south Africa. So to understand which side lacks decency is not a big deal? Even players from bangladesh should be given more respect for at least they are good human beings and behave nicely on or off the field.

Here, people would like to know that Australia is a land of criminals with their criminal forefathers exiled (Tadipars) from Britain. Australians believe in winning by hook or by crook and this claim from this Mr. Gavin is at least really funny if not utterly stupid. I think he did not bother to see the look on Symonds face when Sreesanth was animated after getting him out in Kochi. Seems like an unnecessary PR exercise but worse that this article is rediff's choice of putting it here. Such an article should never have been accepted, forget about posting. Seems like Rediff is also desperate to taste success like Australians by filling in any articles about cricket. Now I am kinda thinking of switching to some other website for Indian news.

may be thats correct. but let all the Indian Crickters first read this. let this VIBHISANA do good for us. We all give him a very good prize afterwards. but i don't think he is doing this for Prize. Some people do this becuase thety want very much to tell what they feel. May be he is like that
