Munaf should show what a really good bowler he is. The only problem Munaf has is that he goes into his low confidence mood fearing he will get injured. Otherwise he is the best Indian medium pacer India has today. He is not fast but he can be menacing. Just wish he has the luck.

Munaf has no future in Indian cricket. His speed has declined to mid 130's with his pathetic fiedling no batting skill. Munaf seem to be a bit of a braindead, lacking enough intellect to find a way to rebuild his career.

Seeing the long season ahead and the way dhoni was struggling for his fitness in the last 2 matches, I would say take dinesh kaarthik as a keeper in place of Dhoni for atleast first match. I like your idea to open with saurav. Even if he is not happy and dont want to do it, team management have to ask him if you have to be in the team, take the position that is open. Yuvraj has to be in the team , either ganguly or lakshman should open if yuvraj has to come in.

With the current form in Karthick, we cant leave him out.I too sincerely feel karthick will be better off as a wicket keeper batsman in tests than Dhoni

Pak will surely go with Akhtar and Tanvir. I dont think they will bring in Sami, who has'nt got a game so far in this series. I wont be surprised if they pick even umar gul!. so india needs to go with three spinners, but the pitch has to be flat and dusty in order to drive home advantage!

malik, afridi and fawad are not in the same league as kumble, bhajji and kartik, my dear!
As for Afridi, I agree he is a different gender on his day! Okay a 100 and 3 wickets for him may not ncessarily win the test for Pak!

afridi in 99 in mohali won the game and in 2005 pak had dansih and afridi only spiner afridi was man of the match not for his batting but for bowling.

so here danish has 31 wicket in 8 test against india 8 test still 26 years old afridi 8 test 14 wickets 27 years old in 99 he was used more of a batsman not a bowler kumble has 12 test 63 wicket 37 years old habajan singh 6 test 15 wickets 27 years old but u should see his avarage aginst pakistan kumble is not gona be as good as u think he was few years ago and that 10 wicket in dehli was just a joke all the out were given out by indian umpire! kumble played 118 test 566 wickets habajan 57 238 wicket dansih 48 208 wickets afridi 26 34 wickets test exprince counts but afridi danish and harbajan have to prove more while kumble is just playing to kill some time so ur spiners arent as good as u think

The curator should shave off whatever little grass is there, and turn it into a dust bowl that can give help to the spinners. India should now go in with three spinners and an extra batsman.

my team for Delhi test: ganguly, jaffer, dravid, tendulkar, laxman, yuvraj, dhoni, kumble, bhajji, murali kartik, zaheer khan, dinesh kartik (12th man). ganguly should open the batting and bowling too!

I think we can go with Ganguly/Karthick also. Remember, during 2005 Zimbabwe tests, Chappel suggested Ganguly to open the innings to accomodate both Yuvraj and Kaif, that led to all the fiasco!

why do you want to go with 7 batsman? to win matches, yuo need quality 5 bowlers to take 20 wickets. I would bring in Dinesh kaarthik in place of dhoni or one of Ganguly, lakshman and yuvraj should sit out.
Irfan Pathan should have been included in the test side.. He Deserved a Place in the side for his past performance aganist Pakistan and also for his allround performance..

first of all venkatesh prasad is worst bowler..he used to bowl well only against pakistan...and he always balls that leg cutter..in his playing days aussies used to like his bowling..

munaf has not done any justice to the chances give to him. nor do we know when an injury will put up its hand up and say that itz my time to take munaf again out of the side.
over that irfan has made a remarkable comeback to the side and is in prime form.
selectors should think upon it.
and i dont think so that out of a population of over 100 crores our so called selectors cant find a better pacer than munaf.
get in some new young legs may it just be raw pace , we have zaheer to keep things in control.
selectors must give a thought to this stuff!!!!!!!!!
