Yes yuvi was right. If the umbires made mistake, then their match fee will also to be penalised like the players match fee. Why the difference for players and umbires. Should ICC have guts to take action against umbires mistake. This penalty charges are mostly against Asian players only, not against Australians and nearest countries.

yes very sure! very very sure! I saw the reply on a big screen and then they also played that scico (spelling correct) sound thing which showed no sound at all........
Shastri's decision shows that certainly cricket cannot be run without umpiring mistakes being made - the human factor, as they say. Though as a cricket lover, I rather see a correct decision being made through use of technology than a human error. I may be venturing into the same debate of technology vis-a-vis field umpires, but to me, it makes a lot of sense for a field umpire unsure of his decision to refer it to the third umpire, rather than put up his finger without appreciation of facts, and spoil a fantastic game. We all would agree that Yuvraj would not have been adjudged out had technology been used, which of course at the moment is not allowed by the ICC, in all respects.
Shastri however will not escape without a scathing. Dhoni, i am sure in his captain's report to the ICC will mention about this umpiring blunder. If nothing, atleast Mr. Shastri thanks to a spate of such decisions can never reach the Elite Panel.
yuvaraj was not out .he is out because of stupid umpiring. he dont know crores of people watching one day match .if he unable to decide the decision give to third umpire .No one blame him .he dont have guts to give lbw against players.umpire need mentally strong and good vision or eye sight .dont keep blinds as umpire.
I feel that the referee's decision is right. The umpire felt convinced that the ball had touched the glove and gave Yuvraj out. As a player, Yuvi should have walked away right off. What did he think? Did he think that if he stands for some time and shows his shoulder, he will be recalled? He has been playing for so long, he should know that he has to go. Standing there and creating a needless controversy and pressure for the umpire was not required. Frankly, watching the game, I have so many times felt on first watching that several of the appeals are out. It is only on 3 or 4 slow-motion viewings that I understand that most are not out. Umpiring is tough. We eat channa, nuts and sit in the living room watching slow-motion relays and criticise the poor umpires. Another point is that noone blames the fielding side for appealing the hell loose and getting a verdict (undeserving) in their favour. We forgot that Umar Gul and the wicket-keeper jumped to the skies appealing and celebrated. It is only the umpire who is blamed.

I think the current rule has to be changed in such a way that if the on field umpire has given a wrong decision then the third umpire should intervine with the on filed umpire and ask him to correct the decision thus we will have more matches with meaningful results.

IN INTERNATIONAL CRICKET THIS IS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO WITH INDIAN PLAYER. UMPIRE DOSEN'T TAKE ACTION TO ANYOTHER INTERNATIONAL CRICKET TEAM . I THINK SO THIS IS TWO PART OF PANISHMENT IN INTERNATIONAL CRIAKET. SAYING I AM NOTOUT THIS IS NOT PANISHMENT MATTER.THIS MISTAKE ALWAYS DOING UMPAIRE, SO PANISHMENT THEM .5TH ODI YUVRAJ OUT IS DOUBTFUL. SO HE SHOULD REFFER TO 3RD UMPAIRE BUT HE DOESN'T DO.ICC CONSIDER THIS MATTER. ALSO BCCI LOOKING THAT MATTER.
agreed that yuvraj did not go wen the umpire declared him out but he had a reason.he knew ke was not out n even the replays showed he was not out.but fining him was totally wrong. there must be some sort of punishment for umpires too wen they take wrong decision.if a player feels tat he is not out then the umpire must consult the 3rd umpire who will clearly know whether its out or not.sometimes a wrong decision against a team can make tat team loose a match and a series.the umpires should keep this in mind.n so should the match referee who should look into all the conditions n then decied whether the player has to be fined or not.
