It is too early to give the responsibility of test captaincy to Dhoni. He has already stated that he is too tired because of too many matches. It is better Anil Kumble to take over the captaincy in tests as he is cool and intelligent person. Dhoni should be rested for Tests as Dinesh Karthik is readily available to keep wickets and open the innings. Dhoni should be fresh when India tours Australia and play ODIs with Sri Lanka and Australia. Dhoni's place could be given to Badrinath or Manoj Tiwary in Tests.

Raam, i am amazed! Why on earth would you like to rest dhoni in the test matches. He has been doing quite well as a captain, has a young side who respects him and this is the time to see how he performs as a captain in test matches. But yes, if the selectors do not want to make him captain for whatever reasons, we could definitely try out kumble if not sourav. Kumble is a very positive player and a highly committed one at that.
Sachin was intelligent to not accept captaincy May be it might be some personnel reasons aslo he might have thought Test Captaincy should be in hands of some young Guns who have brought us the T20 World cup
I suggest Dhoni shd not keep wickets because we are expecting too much from one player (Wkt Keeping, Batting and Captaincy)

Dhoni should be rested at least for the forthcoming test series. The tension in playing WC 20-20, Australia and Pakistan in ODI has taken his toll. He should be preserved and should not be allowed to become stale. We have keepers - Dinesh Karthik and Parthiv Patel who are in good touch.
I think Sourav is the natural captain and he can hold the nurves in the pressure also he is the most aggressive captain till date. His records and ability to lead made him obvious choice. it is much better if Dhoni should be Vice Captain so that he could learn the skills in supervision of DADA. What you all thing about this.

If Ganguly is smart, he too should turn down captaincy! Infact even Dhoni and Kumble must turn it down.
They must pressurise the board to appoint a full-time coach before deciding on captaincy.
y does the media give so much importance to these guys...its not as if they are doing anything exceptional...after all they are only continuing a colonial legacy(cricket)a game that has always been identified with the english uppercrust.Try and give importance to other sports and sportsmen who are practically starving for lack of sponsorship.

Certainly good decision, Dusaro ke saath jo kiya gaya woh tumahare saath bhi kiya ja sakta tha, joker samooh ka kya thikana, buddhiman adami dusaro ko dekh kar sabhal jata hai, wel Tendulkar, I appreciate your best decision, thanks again.
