Selection Committee Chairman is on rotation basis. Present governors are unbiased hence there is all india representation in India team
about 50 days before he was CAPTAIN of indian team. he failed in one series so our selector(bunch of jokers) dropped him. What is Dravid reply? Double century(214)in Ranji Trophe against Mubai team

Cricket is not a Lottery to be decided on luck. Let Gangulli become sure to play test cricket. There is good competetion for middle order places.

PLEASE LOOK the records of Sourav Ganguly in test amd ODI in last one year. You must be ashamed of your statement.
once again the masterblaster shown his greatness as he took that decision.he is capable and respective but he shouldnot be a part of politics of bcci. sachin u r great. In film industry only Big-B is one ,like that in cricket sachin is god. sachin do well against the pakis, and prove u r the one who dominate the game.

You are damn right .. Akthar always wins over Sachin ... he has always won the mental war over sachin.. sachin is chicken while facing Akhtar.

Yes.. and this chicken will take Pakistanis on the upper hand. Its better we drive out this headless chicken out of our team and make him search for advertisement companies which offers him fat pay.....
A Man was removed from the captaincy of the Indian cricket team because of his bad form (He is the best Indian captain, but was removed as his form is not up to mark..said the selectors then). Now, his form is back, he is back into the team, but no one was talking about him as the captain. Isnt it strange????
I am talking about Saurav Ganguly. The selectors, are nothing but, as Mohinder Amarnath once said, BUNCH OF JOKERS.

He is the best choice now!! No doubt that Ganguly can be seen as a stopgap for attleast one year!!
Make no mistake..he is an icon who has brought accolades to self and to Team India.. But this perplexing decision to not accept the captaincy smells of self preservation...
If he had accpeted the captaincy, it would have been taking the bull by its horns...I'am an 18 year veteran at the highest level and i'am in the best position to guide the fortunes of the team against strong opposition like Pakistan and Australia... If i win both the seires or do really well both as a captain and as a player, then my position in the team would be strengthened and my stock will zoom up by several notches!! My colleagues, selectors and the fans will see me as a rainmaker in troubled times and i will enjoy unprecedented glory!!
Fine...fair enough!! But what if i lose as a captain to Pakistan and to Australia?? India and Pak are evenly matched...one great innings by a Younis or Yousuf might turn the tide Pakistan's way... Australia are hot favourites to win.. If i lose as a captain, i would have no moral authority to continue as a mere player under a young captain...it would also amount to a humiliation of sorts... So, that would effectively spell the end of my cricketing career...no, i still have 3 to 4 good years left in me!!
So, it is professional self preservation that has prompted Tendulkar to reject the captaincy!!
I thought he should have summoned that courage and confidence to come up trumps after 18 years at the highest level!!

No mate, i feel he would have lost a lot of respect from me if he had indeed taken the captainship. If he had taken it i bet you our media channels would have worked overtime making speculations that the MUMBAI lobby is ruling the cricket in india(which is not true) and now sachin as also joined them etc etc. & he had a hand in dravid quiting etc etc. I think he has made his supporters proud by taken this decesion. I hope & wish he ends his last few years of cricket in a blaze of glory. Wish u Luck Sachin.

I think he made good decision, He will leave both version of cricket in a year or two better other guys can work out this role and continue to lead the team...

After witnessing the fate of likes of inzamam, Dravid, Bevan etc...What he has done is correct. He has no business procrastinating selection of a test captain by 2 more years. If dhoni can captain ODIs so can he Tests. Our test team is ageing and very soon we will find a sort of exodus of test cricket greats....Dhoni as a captain would be more reasonable in giving younster a chance..where as Sachin would be portraid as a villain if any of his actions are against dravid...gangu...etc etc.....why take so much trouble in the last leg...when there is a more graceful way.....and in the mean time keep doing what he does best...BATTING
