Array Sham Murmurke. You talk about players who have become occasional players only. Only tests and little exposure with today's players. Ganguly is the most shrewd and intelligent of them all. He is the only choice.

dravid turned down captaincy himself.......are u nuts to give captaincy again.......he is great batsmwn agreed but obviosly not a strategy maker, no agressiveness, and cannot take bold decisions which dada can do.

WHEn it comes to skill as a criteria then ganguly deserves than yuvatraj do u think ganguly can score 11,000 runs inh international standards without skills....agrreed he is not techically superior to tendu, dravid, etc but more than yuvarj singh....who lacks consistency, behaviour etc
Kumble must be auto matic choice if there is no politics from our mumbai selectors.it is has to default choice thinking of his experince and his flexibility to adopt to any bowling conditions.and also due to maturity and the exp he has behind him to support and also hos performance to back it up .

Kumble is very aggressive and very competive on the field and more than anybody in the test team now .this was confirmed by captain ganguly after they drew the test series in austrlia.

Gambhir still has to prove that he is good enough to play test cricket. A really good bowling side will get him within first few overs. Moreover Ganguly is not a test opener, he is a middle order batsman. For tests we need to include Jaffer in place of Gambhir. Kumble has to be there in tests.
