Yusuf was the one. He dropped Yunis in Cover and Salman in Sleep. Any other Athletic fielder, eg Yuvraj, Raina, would have taken all three catches..
No doubt Sachin is a great player. To match Sachin, another player has to take a lot of efforts and play his heart out. But Sachin has reached his career's trough from which to rise again is a big fight. Sachin is tired physically and mentally. Every one in this world will reach this phase. Time for retirement.

Awafull this two greats under thecaptaincy of DHONI.We can no more watch this two old greats .Let them remain as greatest cricketer .Please for god shake This two should retire emediately .Dada is simly wanting agaist Gul and Soab Akhtar.Running between wicket is not matching Dhoni and Yubi at all .I dont know one day they will be droped from the team or thrown away like Dravid .Now India team is now matured enough to beat any team in the world under Dhoni with out 3 greats.Their form is so awafull now that I bet they will be wanting surely against even Bangladesh fast bowlers.I am sure nobody like them anymore .It is just their reputation is playing but they are not playing cricket as they used to play once and enthrall public .They are past of their prime now .I advise them to play now ICL or IPL.for atleast lot of spectators will sure to see them but no more test/ Odi's for them .

I am surprised about this comment. A person who scored just 50 odd runs in 6 matches should be brought in place of a person who scores consistently. God save indian cricket from such dravid fanatics

Dada was the best captain india had in the last 10 years, while Dravid and Sachin are way behind. While as players Sachin stands tall followed by Dada & Dravid. Let there be positive energy flowing. venkatesh prasad is doing good job as a bowling coach , i feel he should be given chance to bowl agianst pakistan in this series instead of SREESHANTH , he is a good bowler and batsman as well.what do u say guys.

When many people say how many of Sachin's hundreds have come for a winning cause, Here is analysis of each of those centuries he scored when INDIA lost and reason why it went in vain. Out of the 41 hundreds,........................ Out of the 41 hundreds, 11 hundreds have gone in vain.
1. 137 off 137 (Strike rate 100) balls Vs SriLanka at Delhi in 1996 World Cup . India scored 271/3 in 50 overs. The only other 50 score was from Azhar. SL made 272 in 48.4 overs. Manoj Prabhakar had 4-0-47-0. He also opened in the innings and scored 7 of 36 balls.
2. 100 of 111 Balls Vs Pak in Singapore- Apr 96 . India 226 all out in 47.1 overs, When Sachin was out score was 186/4 (We cant blame because next 3 are match fixtures) . Pak had a reduced target of 187 from 33 overs.
3. 110 of 138 Balls (Slower but...) vs Sri Lanka In Colombo - Aug 96. Again India 226 for 5 in 50 overs, Only other 50 score from Azhar (58 of 99 balls !!!) .Sachin has also bowled 6-0-29-1 , the second most economical bowler and the only wicket taker (SL were 230/1 in 44.2 ) of the match next to Srinath. 7 bowlers were used by Azhar.
4. 143 of 131 Balls (!!!) Vs Aus at Sharjah, Apr 1998. This was chasing under lights. The qualifying match before the final. The whole world knows about this match. Still one interesting point, when Sachin was out India were 242 at 5 at 43 overs. Target was 276 in 46. Still India finished at 250/5 scoring just 8 of the next 3 overs. Most selfish or most self-interested.
Sachin carries the weight of his name in each match. he makes sure to perform and keep his name good. Either batting or bowling he makes sure that no body points a finger to him and stop his career.
I wish all players should be like this. Sachin is patriotic and India losing because like everyone he did not play is not acceptable to him. Go maratha!! Go India!!

Keep dreaming. Or may be in the mean time try to understand what cricket means. Of course it will be difficult for you but there is afterall no harm in trying. In an innings to score 240, openning the innings against Shoaib and Umar Gul and that also after losing Sachin, you expect 100 strike rate? Wonderful..
What makes one use that in a headline? I saw the whole match - nothing facile about it at all. Good steady determination, no drooping of heads - so why the negative? I am wondering if you expect *EVERY* Indo-Pak match to be 100% fireworks......a win is a win and 5 wickets plus 18 balls to spare is a good, convincing win!
