As you would remember, Gilchrist was not in a great form earlier. The ball, certainly seems to have helped him. What if he got out early and theAussies l;ost a few wickets early ? Back the Lankans, we Indians may also suffer in future. Any performance enhancing device is as bad as a drug and is wrong. What frauds the Aussies have not revealed so far ?

Yes, you are right. Why didn't he performed in earlier matches.. he lost touch, because there is some problem with Gilly, handling the bat. Certainly this is unethical to the spirit of the game..
He already played lot of innings like this, any have give the Squash ball all who ever are commenting on this, let us see how they will play, he is a great player he will play like that, and Australians are disorve to worldcup, all thease are silly comments.

Tell me if ICC agrees to Srilankan cricket board's appeal and nullifies the amount of runs made by Adam Gilchrist (i.e. 149) then what????? Would SriLanka be declared WC2007 Winner???

Yes Farooq, it is a device of the Sri Lankan team to win the World Cup title by hook or crook. Even after a month, they just can not forget the saddest part of their cricket game. But now, even if they intend once again to win the same, that will be another mockery to the Sri Lankan team. They got defeated and they should accept their defeat. Better, the decision left upon ICC, right???
It is not about Gilly putting a ball into his glove alone. IT is also a question of all the things Aussies do to win. Remember Sunil Gavaskar bat pad lbw, their sledging, abusing the opposition. It is Darwin out there, survival of the fittest, but whether it is legal or ethical? It is wrong to say that no law prohibits putting a ball into the glove. You cannot write down every possible thing. We may be remined about the fair play rules. If a non white had done it, the entire race would have been abused.
Come on Srilanka... Dont cry.. Be a sport.. You must be still feeling dizzy after chasing the Gilly hits.. Stop complaining. Why dont you try what Gilly did?
There is no doubt in gillis ability as a batsman,he is a great player. so its complete foolishness that because of the squash ball only he hit that match winning knock if so everybody will go in with a squash ball in the glove and hit a ton. so its better for srilankans or anyothers to learn how to play like him instedd of criticizing him.
There is no point in arguing about whether Gilchrist had cheated during the World cup. There is no ICC rules which states that the player should not use any padding to have a grip. Also If you had watched the match, all the shots played by Gilchrist are a good cricket shots. If srilankans had a doubt that Gilchrist is using Squash ball, they should have objected it earlier. If Gilchrist wants to cheat he would not have revealed what he had in his glove.
When there were not neutral umpires, Ian Botham, who himself was not a saint, said during a tour in the 1980s that "we have to take 14 wickets and they have to take only 6 wickets". The Australians are geatest cheats ever.

australian can survive any kind of cheat and get away frm it as they have the ICC chief on their side. World cup can never go to any team untill he changes. Another example of racism. Aussies are the greatest cheats ever.
