RE:What Team India Says about their exit from the Worldcup
by Anand Chavan on Mar 30, 2007 05:10 PM Permalink
Dont Give so much importance to cricket. We have so many other things in india. So just ingore cirketers either they paly good or bad. Indian Kabbadi team won gold 5 times in row but we just run behind cricket..cricket and cricket and what is end result.
man when there is lot of unemplyment in the country then there is this kind of protest against loosing a world cup. it is sad but thats it go back to your work. About dada, well he has not scored a century in one day till his return but has showed consistancy, which non other have shown. Bengal has always showed the way to india, historians have say that and bengal has again showed us how to react when there is a defeat. Burning efficacies and and destroying properties can only resemble to hooligans act. well done bengal.

Krishnendu. nothing against you or bengal but your posts reminds me of the 1996 match against Sri Lanka in the Semi at Eden Gardens... Hooligans??? did you say that??? your comments!

that was a hooligans act too but after that why everybody started following that. now by welcoming sourav bengalies have showed the way of dealing defeat. underdeveloped nations like pakistan can through stones at their cricketers or columbia can kill their player but do we follow them. look germany inspite of loosing world cup in their own country no body cares to show protest. they dont have so much time dear.

You all are the devotees of Ganguly. Never wanted the truth to come. Be like a true Indian not like a true Bengalian munna chunna.

abe Saurabh Kumar ke bachche- uthappa got out and india were 3-1 ,and what do u expect? ganguly to hit 3 fours and a six and get out and india to get 200-250 runs all out?? u also say Ganguly wasted balls in the Bangladesh match,WHO THE HELL CARES BECAUSE OUR SUPER-STRONG BATTING LINE-UP LED BY DRAVID did NOT EVEN LAST 50 OVERS!!!i guess u`d have been happy to see Ganguly out for a duck and to see India 130 all out, just because he DARED TO SCORE MORE THAN DRAVID!!!!!

abe nali ka dhakkan, tere aur sewage drain can ka only difference is-sewage drains help mankind while you further pollute it!! WHY DO ALL THESE NARROW-MINDED,REVENGE-SEEKING, FILTHY ANTI-BENGALI ELEMENTS ASSEMBLE HERE AND ABUSE A WHOLE STATE?? IF U PPL HAVE ANY PERSONAL PROBLEMS(JEALOUSY,ENVY,ETC,) WITH BENGALIS,PLEASE KEEP IT TO YOURSELVES. THE POSITIVE THING IS THERE ARE FEW ELEMENTS AS IDIOTIC AND SHITTY AS YOU IN THIS NATION,WHICH IS WHY THERE IS SO MUCH VARIETY WITHIN UNITY IN OUR NATION.HOPE PPL LIKE U LEARN TO CHANGE AND REFORM YOURSELVES,INSTEAD OF ENDING UP AS A WASHED-UP,BIG-TIME LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!

No I am just saying that no-one should lick his ass for just this small achievement. Everybody else failed so no question of licking their ass

Hey saurab kumar u are crazy.which part of India are u from.Ganguly deserves praise and admiration for the way he has fought back into the team and performed.66 runs in a total of less than 200 is a huge contribution. Why dont u go and lick Ganguly's Ass and that too after he has just finished his joib/ u seem to be an expert ass licker. go enjoy Ganguly is in Kolkatta.!!!!!!

actually mr saurabh you should be doing the licking...at least you would be licking the ass of the highest scorer in that innings rather than the other non-performers...

I agree with the fact you provided. Gangully must be punished for playing very slow and he is also 1 of the other big reasons why India failed in world cup.
He always plays for himself. he never played for the country. atleast bengalis now tell him that world cup is of one day cricket not test cricket........

Anand compare the record of ganguly in first 16 months and that of Rahul`s you will know the facts. When you all r gunning for rahul beacuse he was not fit for ODI it was ganguly who stood by him

If Dravid plays same kind of inning we will say he is the only player who can play at difficult time,ok he may have not played with high strike rate but he has tried to give strong base for middle order to grind on,u can not blame some just for one inning that too due to a brilliance piece of fielding from srilanka, think logically. He has shown the commitment and i apperciate that,he may not be in his best form but if you keep on loosing wicket in one end u can not be so aggressive in your side.

Yes, Ananad - if by playing for oneself one could take India to the 2003 WC final, and by playing for the team India goes out in the first round in 2007 - then don't you say that playing for himself is much of a better service ??
Don't play regionalism. No one can deny Ganguly is a fighter.Go back to last 16 months.Think Chappel & More and others treatment to Ganguly. He had returned to India team on the basis of his performance only.See his score card in South Africa trip & one day series against Srilanka ,West Indies.I am not a Bengali. But I understand feelings of Bengalies. They respect the fighter-Ganguly.Respesct their feelings.

don`t forget that he resurrected rahul`s career in ODI when all r gunning for him by making him wc.at least he has been to the finals in lot of matches with muchyounger team than rahul`s.excellent batsman need not be a grt leader.

There are some people who always want to keep DADA away from cricket. But he is the real hero of the Inidan Cricket team.

One has to hold his wicket, if the other end is loosing wicket continously. So stop blaming Sourav. Atleast Tortoise, is better than the ones who have not scored anything. I am not from Bengal please.
