I remember they days when Kargil war started. I was on my way from mumbai to kolkata. Everyone on the train ,on the platforms had grim faces. I heard people saying I am going to join the army. I saw a little girl with a tin can asking for doantions on the way to school. I read about prostitutes donating their day's income to the local club to sent to our soldiers adn the beggar at the temple giving up his day's alms for the same.
I think we need a war every other month to remind us of what we are "Indians" !!!!
all those guys writing abt dada and idly and mach bhat and bangladesh and sprems I think u guys are worse than that prostitute!
what ganguly has don in recent time he played well to get back in the team, and in WC he is total failure, as far as other batsmens anr concern they are also fail but nobody is praising them, but what happen to these bengali people, ganguli has not don anything right in WC, bangali people must understand that he is representing india, not only bengal, whatever rung he scored in WC was very slow, and no use, our player must play like australia and south africa, so this cricket crazy country can praise them.

vijay, you must understand we all feel bad india has lost.but the thing is you cannot target just ganguly all the time.tell me playing slow is better or not playing at all is?what has the so called don done?supposedly he is a much better ,compact, correct, god gifted player than ganguly?what has he done in the match against sri lanka and bangladesh?
He is the poor past of Indian Cricket, who can not score a run per ball even against Bermuda, wasting balls to complete cetury... He can't score runs quickly even agaist Bangladesh, the newcomer Uthappa & Sehwag was better in runrate.. He might be fixer for match with Bangladesh... What a pity for India that such person is getting welcome...

Hi dost i am 100% agree with you . But please tight your knowledge screws, because now a time there is no place naming as calcutta in world. DADA jarur bahar hoga from kolkata.
Indians were not geared up to the challenge mentally for the world cup.. they underrated Bangladeshi's and they defintely did well... to beat indians.. and coming to team spirit.. look how u guys are fighting against each other.. similarly, there can be differences in team... it needs to be charted out.. the ones who have performed well.. or atleast tried hard shouldn't be cornered for the team's failing... Let the board look at the weaklings and lack of team spirit and address it. Common cricket is a sport and win/loss is part of it.. don't fight over it like a war.. (the only thing that is bad is advertising for these cricketers should be stopped and more stringent rules should be bought out for all players..irrespective of seniority and histories.. to bring out the best in them.. team spirit should be bought in by some Team Building exercises.. )

Also.. mental toughness is something the team needs to learn.. we can't shatter under pressure..
I feel Calcutta crickets fan go mad if other cricketers fail. But when a Bengali's fails its not a matter. I also doubt that Ganguly has taken revenge on Chappell and Dravid by re-entering the team. I assume with his attitude.

sorry!! for those who has gone one step ahead to see & propagate the regionalistic feeling b'cos of the defeat in WC. Now the question is when ll we learn to be mature enough to take a game as a game. Unfortunately, We do not bother( or think it's a game) about all serious things that happens in this country But we definitely serious about a loss or win of a game.

Hey Mr AAA, Talking about bengal haah...now Comeon, tell us from which state you are? Then we will tell you how to be a sport and digest the facts... let's see if you have the guts to tell the truth first?

It doesnot matter from which state I am. I am not stupid like you all to catogerise India in different states. Moreover I belong to such a part of india where no one is spare if he has shown India down. Whether it is dravid, sachin ganguly or someone else. We are not as bais as you all.

I fully endorse your views. I have seen many guys posting anti Bengali or anti south feelings, sometimes I feel India is much more racial then the western countries. Shame on us we Indians.
