Harbhajan has been a class spinner,he is going through a dip in his form ,and shall bounce back for sure after his outing in county.
Those who have forgotten his performance of match winning bowling and criticising him ,I think are not Indian fans. These are sick petty and parochial minded fellows who have take no pride in truely class bowler like Harabhajan.
To me Sardar always rocks,
I am proud of them & their contribution.

You heard about what happened when the last time you were asked to 'Log in' to a computer, it seems the computer was shattered, because you were trying to push a Wooden 'Log in'to the computer.

Overconfident Harbi
by William Noronha on Jun 25, 2007 02:10 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

He is so overconfident about himself that he cant perform when it really matters, with one good show around his neck against australia he flexes his muscles but that does not make him a MP of team India Now he will give some good performances, when he is selected in the team he will perform in few first matches but later the same old story the slackness in performance no consistancy which has become part and parcel of Team India which is the important thing the new coach has to instil in his pupils.

you are 1000% correct, this is the major problem for indian cricket, all the new comers peforms great in first few matchs, once they get that fame, money, etc. its all over. example raina, kaif, munaf, pathan, all these players played very well for some time and than faded - remember all these guys are really talented players, this is one of the main reason aussies are number one team, each player performs consistently. As u said, new coach should seriously look it into this area and should groom the new talents.

RE:Nonsense!
by babi ati on Jun 25, 2007 03:01 AM  Permalink
Good point. The statement makes it sound like he is a clear match winner and was dropped for no fault of his. Bhajji, take a look at the mirror, you were pathetic and a one series wonder only. A strike bowler sends terror in the opposition ranks like Murali and Warne have exemplified and even Kaneria is turning out to be a strike bowler. Anyway, it is a good practice on BCCI's part (for once) to drop arrogant hot shots to bring some sense and reality into them. It makes them feel ordinary once again and if determined they can fight back into the team. God only knows how many good spinners were ruined because of this bum's position being deeply entrenced in the team. I was amused to read that Panesar's dad asked Bhajji's opinion on his son's bowling skills during the last England tour to India.Perhaps, Panesar can fix Bhajji's problems:-)

Jealousy or unappreciation!
by Ramesh Kapoor on Jun 25, 2007 12:44 AM  Permalink

Ashish Nehra is also playing county games, so have many others both in the past and now. With the coming of ICL which is subject of a separate debate, BCCI will find it difficult to compete where management will be in the hands of professionals and not politicians. While no one should be denied any opportunity for advancement, and if Harbhajan succeeds in Surrey, it will be his gain and indirectly improve his chances of returning to the Indian squad.
