DNT WE HAVE A COACH WITH IN INDIA...WHY DO WE RUN AFTER WHITE SKIN..WHY CNT ONE OF THE SENIOR WORLD CUP WINNING TEAM PLAYER TAKE UP THE RESPOSIBILITY TO BE A COACH.........
hoo is drabs to comment on some role which is very senior to his. it would be better if he doesnt entertain questions relating to coach, manager but restrict himself to team strategy, opening partenrships etc...
It is an irony that BCCI being the richest board of the world is not able to produce even a second class team. The fault lies in making BCCI a money minting organisation rather than creating team spirit.
Normally a team/player needs a coach, coz team/player wanted to know their weakness and get em Improved, know their strengths and better strengthen it...
Where as Team India (Cricket) our so called lords Sachin, Saurav, Dravid, etc., know their weaknesses(Media, money, power, blah blah) and their strengths(play for themselves, never for country) and our Juniors know their strenthgs (Team play, concentrate on game, etc.,) where our seniors outbeat Juniors and Coach in all aspect.
Well its a old saying, "How to make a person awake, when he(sachin, saurav, dravid, etc.,) pretend to sleep...."
Please Rediff stop cricket news, it could save your Nasdaq pie...

Looks like you have taken your own professional failure as an yardstick of comparison. Howelse can someone make baseless comment to sing a tune which sees look for a change( as often as the great Indian attrition) hoping that someone succeeds somewhere. The crappy lacklustre youth brigade with shallow IQ and non sportmanship will destroy all sports and turn the great Indian dream into a nightmare. Stop grudging success of few .

indeed he did great job for making mockery of the system...he invited ford to apply...should have asked him...if he was interested or not....
If BCCI introduces point system for selection of rejection of players, Indian team, definitely, does not require a coach. Players will play consistently for survival, be it a captain or senior players or junior players. BCCI should invest considerable thought on devicing a point system.

It was right that Mr. Greg Chappel simply ignored the stardom of our cricketers by dropping the seiors when they ae not performing. But the likes of BCCI could not follow the diagonosis and prescription made by him to protect the Ailing Team India from slow death.

And a tolerance of plus or minus 5% to be given to senior players. BCCI may appint one statistical expert instead of a coach!!!!!!!!! We all recommend Mr.Kamal to do that job...
It is good that justice has been ultimately delivered. Some half-wit and no-wit Regional-Communal guys including a website copy paste lady have been trying to undermine and brand talents putting them under a regional tag. Persons like me, speaking for the neglected talents and against wrong decisions and selections have been advised to migrate to a neighbouring country by some people. Even the nationalism of such talents and their supporters are challenged by the regional blockheads.
Now, all dear idiot Regional brothers and sisters, please wake up. India is much larger than the territory of your Taluk, Zilla or State. Appreciate talents wherever they exist.
LET ANY TOM-DICK-HARRY BE INDIAN COACH THIS DOES NOT MATTER AT ALL. WHAT MATTERS IS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE INDIAN PLAYERS, WHO SOME TIMES PLAY AND SOME TIMES DON'T. THEY UNPREDICABLE!

The coach's job is to bring in and sustain consistency of the team's performance. The coach has to pin=point the strengths and weaknesses of individual players and the team as a whole. But some of the senior players, do not respect the role of the coach as they think too much of themselves. When senior players commits mistakes it is the responsibility of the coach and the captain to pin point it. Accepting that and correcting in future is a positive attitude of a professional players. We all know that all the senior players think too much of themselves and do not want to hear others. At least, I am happy that Sehwag is dropped for his non-performance, who was one of the persons did not respect the role of the coach and unprofessional in attitude. Other non-performing players also should be dropped soon. Any team need a good coach - more than that the attitude of the players should be changed.
Right Mr Dravid, the Indian team does not require any coach after all you are born cricketers, chelas without Guru.Mr Ford 's decision is really good for his physical and mental health else he would loose both with you guys.Say what you want we will never waste our time with you anymore
