Not only harbhajan... it applies to even tendulkar...If a player is physically unfit....not in form continuously...he has to be dropped for a while so that he can work it out and make a come back...

what happened to Balaji who destroyed pakistan in pakistan...they cant include based on his past glory because now he is not physically fit..same rule should have been applied for tendulkar when he was having all kind of fitness problems..

AGREED SIR! IF THEY DONT WORK, LET THEM SIT IN THE BACK STAGE. HARBHAJAN IS YOUNG STILL, CAN COME BACK. HE HAS THE SPIRIT. A LITTLE PATIENCE WILL WORK.

u r talking abt Tendulkar fitness? this shows ur knowledge in cricket... in Bangladesh hot summer tendulkar stood whole day and made century while the other young guns karthik and jaffer cannot bale to stand and took retired hurt.. who has more fitness? dont drag sachin in every column. Sachin, Kaif, Yuvraj has good fitness in indian team and good runners between wickets.
Harbhajan has definitely contributed to Indian teams success in the past. But I think that he should be there in the team depending on his present performance and not his past. And this applies to all the cricketers.
It's quite silly for Harbhajan - or anybody else - to say that he doesn't know why he was dropped ! He lost his bowlng ways ! There was abosolutely no penetration in hi sbowling, he starte dbowling mainly the arm ball , as his stock delivery, versus using it as a weapon...and he'd totaly forgotten how to use his craft as an offspinner, including the use of flight. So, this banishment is very important for him because he will be able to use it to his benefit & I'm confident - like he says- that he'll return a much better & effective bowler, to play for India for many years.
hi friends all over india and across the globe its amazing to see india fighting performace in uk. the best prt has been the old tiger who never gives up sourav ganguly. his performace right from the first test have been accurate and fighting which he is always. I love the spirit he gets into the game and the energy that really raises the level of others around him also. I am sure we gona win this series thanx to some super performaces by our seniors........ so cheers lets sit back and wait to celebrate a overseaes win........

is this the same 'Indian' who was baying for the blood of the 'seniors'??!! We Indians can really be so eccentric....
Past is past,we can look forward beyond Harbhajan where there are other exciting spinners like Powar brothers, Chawla etc. Chawla is a class spinner. Peoples like Harbhajan, Mongia are made for County cricket only not for representing country. How fortune changes quickly? When Dhoni was playing his first series against Bangladesh on minor fumble also Harbhajan was scolding Dhoni like anything and now Dhoni is future captain and there is end of road for Harbhajan.

Do you even know anything about cricket...Mr. Santosh Kr, go play gulli-danda!!
A spinner only matures after 25yrs, cause the skills has to be developed over a period of time. Its good to be 'slam bam', but sometimes, class happens and it happens slowly...Bhajji is still new, he has only learnt his skill and implementing will happen now....so relax, you have not heard the last of him....

I agree. Getting wickets in County is different than bowling to Ponting, Jayawardne, Hayden etc. Most of the international players figured him out. It is time for Chawla and Power to take over.

Singh,
that was 6 years back... we loved that 32 wickets..
but come to present.. did he took any wicket in world cup as a genuine bowler in team? and also not economical.. he and sehwag got number of chances from last year.. its time to correct their mistakes.. let him be consistent to come back... one match does not reflect his form.. he has to be consistent. do u remember when he took 5 wickets in an innings last time for india?

There is no denying his 32 wickets created a lot of hope for India in the spin department and I was excited but, unfortuantely, he didn't reinvent himself and come up with new skills to counter teams that figured him out. Thanks for calling me a world class spinner ( I like those few seconds of fame) :-)
Harbhajan gets some wickets and he becomes hero again! The same rediff posted very bad against him just after the world cup. They changed their mind so fast???
