Tendulkar's Failure
by M R S SRINIVAS on Mar 29, 2007 04:58 PM  Permalink

Each Player should see his won back and cross check whether he is fit or not. No individual cannot be blamed when it is a team work. But What happened to the team spirit and killer instinct of the team. Did India took it seriously. The countries except Australia has a great stamina in the team to defeat India. But India failed to win Bangladesh. The coach, Captain should really feel what is required to boost up and how team can be made to win. Captain himself is a great batsman. Then at least tough fight would have been there. Sorry, It is good to India at least some people forget Cricket and crazy ness in the cricket will be reduced.

Is Greg chap essential????????
by guru nath on Feb 01, 2007 02:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If a player is blamed for his form whats the necessity of a coach. BCCI is crazy to bring foreign nationals to coach our team. we never found any difference with any foreign coach. Please realize and provide great Players of our country to coach our present team. ( Hope ur aware and remember our great players who served in the past).

Hope we can provide a bowling coach, batting coach, keeping and fielding coach to specialize our team members and refine their talent.

Wish we win the world cup 2007.

Chappel under leash from Vengsarkar is okay.
He should not interfere with team selection and just cocentrate on giving tips and prctices to the players.
In no situation he should adopt the role of a captain.

Class of Tendulkar
by Dr Aneeta on Feb 01, 2007 02:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is sheer class of Tendulkar. N other batsmen in the modern era has scored more centuries in One Day Internationals, leave alone Great Viv Richards, present best batsman in the world Rickey Ponting. He has proved his critics wrong by scoring a century. Media and press are also blaming for his poor form. because of this he is in great pressure. In modern era no other bastsman is close to him in One day internationls centuries. This century is slap on the face of his critics and he proved himself why is one of the best

there is nothing like a best in sachin he hasn't score a hundred in austrlia,SA,NZL in onedayers against them.his hundred came mostly in subcontinent look at ricy pointing he has scored hundred in any country n mostly for winning cause.sachin never a consistent player sometime he scores hundred then adds a series of low scorein his account for a long time.if he is great y india has had not any World Cup during his tenure.if u say about century against WestInides
(not a qulaity opponents)it came after a loong time and after having got a chance on 84 n 89.

plz. let me know that how many crucial innings he had played single handedly and won for Aus. He could do with the help of other great onedayers like heyden, gilcrist, symonds, now hussey etc., Had sachin such support and legendary bowlers like Glenn, warne, bret, etc., he would have done better than anyone else in the world.

Sachin should go!!!
by samuel selva kumar on Feb 01, 2007 11:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Common my Indian brothers, it's a trick played by BCCI to attract the viewers by keeping sewag, sachin in the team. MNCs know that Indians are emotinaly sick and we are addicted to watch same guys playing for many years. They don't bother whther India wins or not as long as they promote their product. If players are not performing then BCCI should go for youngsters(Sure that 'n' number of cricketers in India yearnig for a chance to prove but unfortunately they don't have enough support just like our hockey team) and should not go back for old guys like ganguly(It's a bad example).

Time has come for Sachin to hang his boots. There is no point in comparing with other players about the record in other countries. Offcourse he is a good player but not great since many players could score like this if they are given this many chances. Take the example of Australia, great players like steve waugh, bevan are shown the way. The number of cricket players in India outnumbered the total population of Australia where they excel in Cricket, Hockey, Rugby, Athletics & also football now.

As rightly called,
You want sachin to hang his boots .......u r a moron, he still can contribute to the team cos better than anyone else in the team, he wins matches for india....he wins man of the series, he gives all round performance....now u r not being fair on the greatest the cricket has ever seen.....learn to respect your heroes...mr.@#$

This is a good example of how sick you are. You have to see that he played well after a long time. Now he can enjoy for another 10 or 20 matches and score a 100 for you people to worship him. if you are in the queue and denied justice then only you'd realise. Same thing applies for Agarkar(One should be like agarkar to retain the place. God only knows how it happens). hhch...they are all MUMBAIKARS.........

Guys! dont think too much...
by shashikanth dandotkar on Feb 01, 2007 11:01 AM  Permalink

Okay! BTW why should we see or analyse in which situation he scored??? These are our insecurities to find a reason to punish someone. It doesnt really matter for me i felt happy when Ganguly has come back with 98 and Sachin made a century...and new players playing ecxeptionally well...Dont think too much...have samosa and tea and enjoy watching cricket....Our cricketers are busy in planning and practicing to perform well infront of us ....and equally we should do better in our fields so that whenever there is a match...we should see not to miss it....enjoy the cricket man...dont make it as your insecurity by commenting too much on it.

Dont Forget Other Contributers
by sohan banerjee on Feb 01, 2007 10:46 AM  Permalink

Sachin played best innings of this year so far (I m saying this keeping the Jacob Oram inings in mind), but u should not forget others.......perhapes it was not possible if Sourav hadn't given a good start........if Dravid hadn't maintained momentum..........& if Dhoni, at the end, hadn't given Sachin the time to breathe at the non-striker's end....
It was a win earned by "TEAM EFFORT" which was missing in the recent past & to get past Australia in the World Cup, only individual briliance is not enough.

This is to all those guys who suggested the Master Blaster 'Is over the Hill', ' Should hang his boots', 'Should call it a day', 'Is a shadow of his former self'. All u guys can go to hell. This is a stinging slap on all your faces from the Maestro himself. So now shut up and mind your own mortal, incompetent and unseccessful lives. You guys are nobody in your own lives so stop trying to be great by trying to falsely malign a genius. He is back with a atomic bang. watch out u buffoons coz Sachin aala re aala.

I am a great fan of sachin when he is playing well but it too early to say that he is back into form. One innings against a fit for nothing West Indies attack does not speak anything. The day he can single handedly win a match for India against the better attacks in the world, I would reckon that the old sachin is back. He has not been doing that for a long time now...All that crap that Sachin is talking about his role in the team and his age and he not being a 16 year old is trash...People his age (Gilchrist, Ponting) are still winning matches for their countries...
