Sehwag's golfing
by Gajanan Netravali on Jan 22, 2007 02:33 AM  Permalink

Sehwag is supposed to have taken to golf in a big way, practising for hours on end. Has this affected his cricket?

Musings of an old man
by Sabyasachi Sarkar on Jan 16, 2007 06:10 AM  Permalink

I agree , Abbas's comments are a real waste of ether space.Even in his playing days all he could legimately lay claim to were his looks(more the chocolate type than macho). But so could Zeenie baby had she been offered the chance to comment on Indian cricket and whats more she had better credentials in that department.Gangs should be reinstated without any further delay the cup is not very far away.

Sehwag pull out from indian team
by Vikas Devgan on Jan 15, 2007 03:52 PM  Permalink

That's a good move by selectors to pull out Sehwag from indian team squad. But dont know he will learn something from this or selectors did this for 2 matches only as they were getting Crticised..

Sehwag's ommission

'His type of player needs periodic doses of luck to thrive'

This is first rate rubbish I should say.How can a batsman carry such luck for for more 50 tests with an average of nearly 50.That too as an opening bat.Name an indian opener with 50 tests with a decent average(barring the great Gavasker).
Please don't make such outrageous remarks.
