this one is the best team, but inclusion of agressive batsman instead of Karthik or any other non performing batsman will be better !

Rightly said. they r not going to win world cup. they play for themselves not team. whats need to include a non performing batsman like sehwag who is not playing good cricket for last one year and u leave kaif, raina who r better and r good fealders too.

Tahir as I said earlier Cricket is a game of physical and mental fitness and depends on how a team as a whole plays on that day. You cannot claim experience player like shewag as non performer, yes it is true that he is going through bad phase in his career which happens to every cricketer. If Shewag fires today will you still tell him bad performer? We can select only 15 plyers for WC. Someone need to be missed. I feel bad for Kaif, Raine, Power & Laxman. Lets cheers for team India

I second Shahid...in fact, India will get to the semi-finals based on their talent alone. After that, well, they need some luck too!
Here's a thought for you: In the last game, Munaf Patel in helpful conditions broke open the Lankan top order, and we wished Zaheer was there at the other end. Today, it is Agarkar opening with Zaheer. Is that the best combo, or would you rather Munaf teams with Zaheer with Agarkar or whoever else coming in as third seamer? My pick is Munaf -- he is pacier, gets more lift, and is an attacking bowler who looks for wickets through the channel early on.
I think the team wanted to try out the bowling combination which they will be playing in most of the matches - Zaheer, Munaf, Agarkar, Harbhajan and a 5th bowler, who could be Pathan or Sehwag/Sachin/Yuvraj. They havent played Pathan because he is not fully fit. Its better not to risk him when he is not fit. Sreesanth, according to me, is only a backup option in the ODIs.

Yes i also agree with u. Zaheer,Agarkar and Munaf are the best pace attack for india
