We should always have five regular bowlers. Only then can we go for the kill. Part time bowlers like Sachin & Sehwag can be used to break partnerships and not to fill in the full quota of 10 overs of a regular ball. Too many times it has happened that after initial breakthroughs, the opposing team has been let off the hook when a part time bowler comes on. The opposing team's batsment then get their eye in and consolidate. Teams that get rid of the opposite team for low scores are invariably those which have at least 5 regulars bowlers.
i think our fast bowlers are doing good job but they should be excellent zaheer/agarkar not so good/ munaf /sreesanth/.i think viru is a mistake to choosen for worldcup its a politics to chose viru .we all can see how dravid chose him even after his failure why cant rule be same for all of them.gangully was out bcas he was not performing then wjy not viru.

true, and we are waiting for his start. and if want to play big innings and want to show consistency he has to correct his technique, every time you can not rely on reflexes
If Dravid had used Zak's 3 overs in the middle of the innings when Dilshan and Arnold had that important partnership, there was a big chance that SL would have been bowled out under 200...
Utthappan has been picked up for WC, but I am sure, he would be benched by dravid, to facilitate him give cushion to sehwag. I have nothing against Sehwag. He is fantastic on his day. Trial and error policy is not required to be adopted at least now. In this particular match we were short of one bowler which is proved beyond doubt. In any case let us wait till afternoon by which time we would be able to know where we stand as far as experimentation of dravid and chappel stands.
Vengee must have realised by this time that past records would never help in WC. Example...Todays performance of Agarkar, who is fasted 50 wicket taker in ODIs....
Vengee, better late than never... please refine (y)our Indian Team atleast now itself..Else be prepared to resign along with Greg and Dravid ...during WC itslef..for sure.

today Ajit Didn't bowl well he was completely directionless but this thing happens with any bowlers sometime even Mcgrath went for so many runs, so don't worry this team is the best team in players available in India.
India must win the series to prove themselves fit for the world cup. Players like Harbajan, Zaheer and Munaf should be trained for batting also to finish the matches it the top order fail to perform.

Zaheer and Harbhajan are still ok with the bat...but u are right about Munaf...he is useless with the bat...he doesnt even hold it properly....
