Sehwag - Going to be Best batsman for india in future
by raj rajan on Feb 14, 2007 03:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Guys, Every indian has to motivate sehwag like players when they are out of form.
We should not blame them consistently. This is not the way to bring the players to regain their form.
Some few years before ganguly also did the same thing. That time u all commented the same lines.
But now, it seems he is the best among all in current team.
Im not saying we have to drop sehwag also for more than a year like ganguly. Inspite indian players, selectors should find the way to bring sehwag to get back his form.

Don't forget that sehwag is mainly responsible for high scoring run chases.
Post ur comments here to support sehwag.

i wish my friend what you say was true. But can you see any signs of Sehwag making any attempts of improving. he is growing from bad to worse. In which way more you want the team or the people to motivate him? You mean by giving him a raise?. the managment have tried motivating him enough by giving him so many chances. And please dont compare him with Ganguly when he was out of form. Ganguly's figures were not so bad. and always keep in mind even if Ganguly did not bat well, the used to bring the best out of the team.

why does Sehwag need support from the rest of us (Indian). when he has the support of his friend Rahul dravid. who is i guess has grown his head so big, that he thinks that the Indian team is his families buzz

Tendulkar fails again
by Ramasubramanian Venkatesan on Feb 14, 2007 03:33 PM  Permalink

Starting from the final of the WC 2003 against Australia in South Africa, Tendulkar has been failing in almost every crunch situation. Today he came when the score was 20/1, target of 231, couldn't make even a fifty! Of what use are contrived centuries like the one at Baroda that he scores intermittantly on inconsequential situations?

Poor Show

What can a Captain do when his frontline players are failing so miserably. The entire team needs to be reminded of their duties to this cricket loving nation.

Mr Nair, the Captain can ask them to sit out in the next 10 matches and not come back before they get into form like Ganguly did.
