Media Hype
by subbi on Feb 14, 2007 05:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Today in his course of resurrecting the damage created by srilanka Dravid went on to complete 10,000 runs. When sachin completed the same or when sourav completed it was flashed in headlines and all...why not for Dravid whos always been a team player...a good thinker and by for the most valuable player that any team would want to have. When he was axed no one questioned? but when dada was everybody were angry? Dont let your personal likes rule your thinking....
Kudos to dhoni for having stuck in there with the skipper and leading india to a victory...good job zaheer...

Good Comeback !!!!!!!
by sakthivel subramaniam on Feb 14, 2007 05:15 PM  Permalink

Thats a Sensible cricket from Indian side after their loss in Rajkot.

Ganguly keeps up his consistancy and that boosts his confidence.

Dravid and Dhoni really played sensible cricket without taking any risks and saved India from another loss.

It will be another good cricket in Vishakapattinam on satuday.

Good Luck India !!!

Itna bhi uchhalna nehi chahie
by suman das on Feb 14, 2007 05:14 PM  Permalink

Itna bhi uchhalna nehi chahie. As India has the full team but SL is without Vaas & Murli. Even 230 would be a huge score if these 2 players play.

This SL team is without Vaas & Murli. Always remeber that. We will still blame him for inclusion of Shewag. Won't you?

yeah suman if given the chance u ppl would send ur whole bengal cricket team instead of national team to WC!

ya sehwag inclusion was a mistake,no its a blunder perhaps! but colonel was the chairman for selection! so don blame dravid alone just because he is not from ur state!u ppl don praise anybody except dada!strange!

RE:Ganguly As A Captain

I think it is a blessing in disguise for Ganguly as he can concentrate on his own performance without thinking constantly about the team which was never appreciated. While Dravid will allow the opponents to reach 200 or more everytime after 3-5 early wickets due to poor defensive captaincy Ganguly will give the good starts to the team to allow others to play without fear while batting and win even in SA or WI.

Congratulations
by Amarender Neela on Feb 14, 2007 05:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In my opinion, Ganguly has to be made captain and has to bring that winning habit in every player. I think ganguly got that character, on the other hand, dravid is soft-spoken. However, sehwag should fire in top of the order, if we have to win the wc.

Dear Amarenderji, let Ganguly play from now on without these political burdens and biased criticisms which affected his personal performance for which he paid a very heavy and insulting price in the hands of certain jokers. Let him redeem himself and retire with pride in a years time after a few blazing performances.

Kaif better than Shewag
by Umesh Bej on Feb 14, 2007 05:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My request to selection committee-Pl. consider Kaif in place of Shewag. This will give a good support for middle order batting as well as in fielding.

If selection was on basis of giving chances to seniors playing there last world cup, what about All rounder Ajay jadeja ? Still plays for Rajsthan. Also if possible can fix 1-2 matches for us.

bhai,
why are you so stuck on Kaif? The man got so many opportunities earlier... he failed miserably for 10-15 games. Though I am not a big fan of Shewag, but he still has that explosive batting which will come in handy when facing Aus/SA

arrey bhai, so called "Explosive Batting" sehwag dikhayega kab? 2 saal se to usne ek bhi century bhi nahin maare.Ab hum kab tak akhir yeh kehete rahenge aur dil ko manate rehenge ki he will ply explosive innnings some day.
