By Napoleon Hill's ... A great warrior faced a situation which made it necessary for him to make a decisions which insured his success on the battlefield. He was about to send his armies against a powerful foe, whose men outnumbered his own. He loaded his soldiers into boats, sailed to the enemy%u2019s country, unloaded soldiers and equipment, then gave the order to burn the ships that had carried them. Addressing his men before the first battle, he said, %u201CYou see the boats going up in smoke. That means we cannot leave these shores alive unless we win. We now have no choice- we win- or we perish. "
..... we need a captain who acts like a warrior to win this world cup.. burn their passports and visas after team lands in carabian and tell the above story , to get the worldcup :)

Just believe in the impossible sometimes. It is always good to have some sweet dreams.... Afterall we might be having a bitter taste in the mouth after the WC. At least let India win the WC in our dreams.
wats wrong with u people?? its good ganguly came bak to form but its wrong to give him captaincy bak and add extra pressure on him. today game loss was cuz of so many injuries in game. this is the time we should be supporting indian team . we the supporters can make there moral high. so i think all of us should stop deciding wat the team should be for world cup cuz at the end of the day its gonna be the team board decide. only thing we can do is support our team. thanks and GO INDIA GO:)

excellent reply... injuries made us not field our best combination. still, we were dominating the game for most parts, and lost it only in the end. dhoni and karthick took it to the doorsteps.
i wish zaheer and agarkar come back soon. irfan should be the fifth bowler. here would be my world cup XI
I completely disagree with Rahul Dravid that Karthik's dismissal was the turning point. I think his dismissal and Sehwag's dismissal EARLY was the TURNING POINT. But I still think the morale of Indian team is not lost. They can come back hard in their next match.
It is nice to see Sri Lanka, without their two main attacks - Vaas and Murali, has won. It was a batting track so no surprise that Sri Lanka offered a total of 257 runs to chase rather it is credit to India to restrict them within this total.
But the unfortunate part is that no Indian batsman could survive till end of the game. Being a big fan of Sourav and Sachin I muct say that they are jointly the culprits of today's match. Sachin has found his golden touch but he failed to read the spinner. Sourav, being in the peak of his batting form, made a silly mistake and touched the ball standing at his crease. No foot movement. He wanted to glide the ball which was far outside his off stump and he could have easily let it go. However, our hopes should see this match once again in video and polish themselves. It was really unfortunate to see Sehbag in this poor form. He should play freely once again and he will be back amidst runs once again. May be the doubt whether he would be selected or not is playing in his mind and has curbed his natural shots. However, it is not the end but a caution. Men in Blues please come forward.

Mr Kishore, Since how long have you been playing international cricket. You seem to be an expert in what to do and what not to. I think India should send all these "rediff" based experts to the world cup instead of the regular 15 or 16
Yes. Some people feel that Cricket is a game of one or two like tennis or bowing. It is a team game. If the team can not absorb the shocks and hiccups and can not rise up to the occasion why there are 11 players. While countries like South Africa Australia have batsmen up to 10 down, we still look forward to only Sachin or Saurav to play all the time and all the balls correctly and bring the win for us. In a fanatic fan infested country like ours, logic is always kept in the rack. These fans think honey, digest honey, utter honey and vomit honey.

hey sachin dont wi matche 4 us, he shd be there till end he is the culprit of every match which india lose, this is wht we rheotically say all time, i say if we cant win the match frm the position in which ganguly and sachin left then we will nt win the world cup till 3007 forget 2007 , i agree srilanks plyed well and everything but cant see any team losing frm there
Mohammed Kaif is not in very good form and in recent ranji matches, he failed to score runs. Kaif should improve his batting, I hope he will be brought back in the team after world cup. Irfan Pathan needs to play more county matches to get his form, Yuvraj Singh also injured and not in a great form. Selectors should not worry about the players got injured and should not disturb them.
Players like Gambir, Uthappa and Sehwag should judge the ball, before they play the shot. They should be fit both physically and mentally for team cause.
Players like R.P Singh and Romesh Powar can do a magic for India, selectors should pick them for a world cup, They did well in recent ranji matches. There is no place for Anil Kumble, Since he dont deserve one dayers.
I request rediff.com to send my selector list to BCCI.

We should not recommend Mr. Virendar Shewag. Let him improve his batting. In his place we should recommend Mr. Irfan Pathan who is our all rounder and I am sure that he will be the match winer from India side.
its time kaif is brought back. he has an average of 30 and his fielding is an asset which anyway saves 20 runs for india.SO BRING BACK KAIF. Atul Menon
